The noise from the nearby airport was quite disruptive, especially at night. It would have been helpful if this was mentioned in the hotel description.

The hotel is located in the historic district and boasts a peaceful back garden, perfect for relaxing. The bed and bathroom were quite comfortable, and staff was helpful and accommodating. The breakfast had a good selection of items that were quite enjoyable.

The Carriage House rooms are large, beautifully appointed, and clean. The bathroom is spacious and nicely updated. The breakfast is plentiful and the pre-dinner snacks with wine are perfect. There is also a generous assortment of complimentary snacks and drinks in the room.

Situated near all the popular restaurants, shops, and attractions, I was able to walk everywhere without any hassle. The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. They were always available to help and answer any questions I had. The attention to detail in the rooms was top-notch. I stayed in a room attached to the main house and it was so charming, with a lovely view of the courtyard. Although the room was a bit old and could have been cleaner, the decor was beautiful and really added to the overall atmosphere. The basic amenities provided were sufficient for my needs during my stay.

The direct access from our room to the upper verandah was a great bonus. We spent many delightful hours out there, catching up with dear friends we hadn't seen in years. The southern charm of the grounds perfectly complemented our trip, and the carriage house accommodation exceeded our expectations. It was cozy, inviting, and impeccably clean. The staff, especially the young man who showed us to our rooms, were exceptional.
