enjoyed our recent stay in june lake, but the villager made it even better. walking distance to everything, considerate staff like daisy, and they immediately resolved the ac issue in our room. truly made our stay comfortable.

For us it was ideal.

We loved the rustic setting of this hotel, with wood floors and a wood paneled wall that added character to our room. The newly painted walls and finishes made the space feel fresh and clean. The location was perfect, with grocery stores, restaurants, and both June Lake and Gull Lake within walking distance. As guests with disabilities, we appreciated the friendly staff and the fact that we could easily access nearby amenities. Additionally, we were grateful for the thoughtful addition of a USB charger on top of the alarm clock in our room.

The bed was super comfy, great location with lots of restaurants and lakes nearby. Interesting hikes, hot springs, and beautiful places within a short drive. The staff was cheery and friendly, the room was charming and clean with a cabin-like feel. Close to the lake for a cute and quiet getaway.

I had an incredible stay at the hotel! The breathtaking view from my room was absolutely amazing. Plus, the spacious main room was perfect and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Another highlight was the super convenient parking, just a few steps away. I was also thrilled with the modern and updated bathroom. For the price I paid, it was an absolute steal. The check-in process went smoothly and the staff members were simply outstanding, going above and beyond to make my stay memorable.

As longer-term business travelers, we loved the cozy and rustic feel of the room. The water pressure in the shower was great, and the heater had a thermostat for optimal climate control. The kitchenette and bathroom were newly redone, and everything was brand new. The large window provided a beautiful view of the snowy mountains. The location was perfect, just a short drive away from Mammoth and at a much more affordable price. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

our recent stay in june lake was great, but this time at villager it was even better. the staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the fully equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze. highly recommend for a relaxing mountain getaway!

Arriving in May during a sudden snowstorm, we were pleasantly surprised to find an envelope with our name and keys waiting for us outside the front door of Villager. It was a relief not having to wait around and we were greeted with a warm and quiet room. The location of the motel was perfect, allowing us easy access to explore the cute little town of June Lake. The unit was clean and met all our needs, with friendly staff who made us feel welcome. If we ever have the chance to return to the area, we would definitely book at Villager again.
