Jw Marriott Washington, Dc Reviews
Easy access to museums, convenient parking option, clean rooms with daily housekeeping. I recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
I recently stayed at the JW Marriott in Washington, DC for a business trip. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the White House, mall, and great restaurants. The staff at the hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Miss Frey at check-in and Baia Smith in Housekeeping. The comfortable beds and nice-smelling linens made for a relaxing stay. The hotel porters were also very kind and went out of their way to assist me.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.
The Marriott near the White House was a fantastic choice for our stay. The hotel had all the amenities we needed, including a convenient computer in the lobby for checking into our flight. The location was perfect, with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The staff, from the front desk to the housekeeping, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and modern, with a safe, complimentary bottled waters, refrigerator, and coffee/tea maker. As guests with disabilities, we appreciated the accessible facilities.
Felt right at home, no complaints.
This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways! Firstly, the location couldn't have been more perfect. It was within walking distance of everything, including the White House and the conference center. The rooms were spacious, with excellent views of Pennsylvania Avenue and the Washington Monument. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. Additionally, the breakfast, served by a lovely and friendly waitress, was included in the price and the nearby Corner Bakery offered delicious options.
All was more than satisfactory.
Our room was impeccably clean and complete with modern amenities. The location was exceptional with easy access to popular attractions. We had a fantastic stay at JW Marriott and would recommend it to others.
The location of the hotel was fantastic, with easy access to all the main attractions in the city. We were able to walk to the White House, Washington Monument, and even took the metro to the Capitol. It made our city break so much more convenient. Additionally, the hotel provided good internet access, which was important for staying connected during our trip. Another great aspect was the comfortable bed, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring.
One thing that bothered us during our stay was the noise from outside. On one night, there was a DJ playing in a nearby square, and the loud music went on past 11:00pm. It was quite disruptive and made sleep difficult, especially for light sleepers. Another issue was with the service. We were left in voice mail when trying to reach room service and car valet, and one of the car valet staff members was rude and unresponsive. Additionally, we found dried blood on one of the bathrobes, which was unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber.
Staying in a hotel with a subway stop right in the centre of the city is always a plus. From there, you'll be able to visit all the historical sites in the area with ease. The Mall is also within walking distance, making it a convenient location if you want to enjoy a nice walk while taking in the beautiful architecture. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a bathroom that is well-maintained. The staff is friendly and always available to assist when you need them. Plus, the breakfast is delicious and offers a variety of options.
The hotel's parking is quite expensive and might put a dent in your budget.
Great central location, close to attractions and restaurants. Impeccably clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Unique and enjoyable elevator experience. Comfy beds for a good night's rest. Convenient and smooth check-in process.
This hotel is in a great location for a conference center, it's right in the square and walking distance to everything. The view of the Washington National Monument and Freedom Plaza from the room is breathtaking. The breakfast served was delicious and the waitress was lovely and friendly.
All in all, everything was fine and I had a good stay.
We recently stayed at this hotel and were absolutely blown away by its excellent location. It was in walking distance to everything we wanted to see, including the Whitehouse and conference center. The service was also top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. From the security guard who gave us access through the garage entrance to the sweet girl at the front desk who made a reservation for me in the spa, we were impressed with how everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were well-appointed and had everything we needed, including tea and coffee facilities, a refrigerator, and a flat-screen TV. The restaurant and bar area were also great, serving delicious food and drinks.
We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious hotel with enhanced comfort and quality services.
Great location, within easy walking distance to attractions. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable with nice furniture/bed. Recommended. 👍
The location was convenient, one block from Metro. The hotel had a bright and inviting atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was enjoyable. The staff, especially the Manager, were professional and accommodating.
Nothing could have been better.
Ideal location, walkable to attractions, incredible eateries, staff attitude perfect, great value, top choice to return, thoughtful housekeeper.
Couldn't stay longer.
I had a fantastic stay here. The location was ideal, as I could easily walk to all the museums and monuments in this city. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hotel facilities were top-notch, especially the fitness center, which surprised me with its range of equipment. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and courteous, with Miss Frey at the front desk and Baia Smith in Housekeeping standing out for their exceptional service. It seems that this hotel values their employees' friendliness, and it really shows.
No negatives from this place.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the beds were comfortable. Additionally, the location of the hotel was great, with many attractions and restaurants nearby. We also appreciated the two complementary bottles of water in the room.
The cost of breakfast was ridiculously expensive, and there was no complimentary breakfast offered. The room was also quite noisy, with thin walls and loud parties going on throughout the night. the negatives outweighed the positives and we would not recommend staying at this hotel.
