As a solo traveler, I loved the option to dine off-site in the other restaurants as part of the refine package. The all-inclusive package also included dinner at the Hacienda, a building right outside the resort, where I could enjoy upscale dining for free. The staff were incredibly hardworking and eager to please, making my stay even more enjoyable. The pools were fabulous and the beach was beautiful, providing a perfect setting to relax and unwind.

I was amazed by the cleanliness of The Royal. Not a speck of dirt anywhere! The pool area was meticulously maintained, and even the lounge chairs were wiped off daily. The attention to detail was impressive. The food at the Veranda buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of options. I also had dinner at Hacienda Sisal and Captain's Quarters, and both meals were fantastic. The staff at the pool, including Manuel, Wilber, Felipe, and Silverio, were attentive and made sure I had a great time. Cris, the DJ and game coordinator, kept the energy high and made the activities so much fun. Special thanks to Pedro, our concierge, who explained all the restaurants available with our package. Not having to reserve beach huts in advance was a huge plus, and the beach service was great with just a simple flag to indicate you needed assistance. I would love to return to this family-friendly resort.

Although the mandatory all-inclusive was great in terms of food, having to show my room key and sign receipts for everything was a bit cumbersome. The mattresses were extremely firm, almost hard, which made for slightly uncomfortable sleep.

The staff is exceptional, always smiling and ready to help. The property is easy to navigate and quiet. The food is decent, especially breakfast. The children's pool is perfect for kids. The price was right for the great service and ocean views.

The value for money was amazing, getting a 5-star all-inclusive experience at less than half the price of other hotels. The location was perfect, with easy access to everything. The staff treated us like royalty, from the friendly waiters and bartenders to the accommodating maids.

The view from our balcony was breathtaking. The resort had many dining options to choose from and the staff was attentive to our needs. The daily activities were enjoyable and the cleanliness of the premises was impressive. a delightful stay.

The location of this resort is perfect for those wanting to be close to the beach. You have the option to relax on the beach or one of the many pools. Additionally, the resort is situated in the lagoon, providing a beautiful and serene atmosphere. Acquiring a taxi when necessary is also convenient.

The food options at the designated restaurants seem to have limited choices, which may not cater to everyone's preferences.

We had an amazing Xmas vacation at this resort. the rooms were great, with huge balconies and a fantastic view. the cleanliness of the rooms and the entire resort was impressive. the buffet had delicious food, especially the breakfast and lunch options. the staff was friendly and helpful.

There were a few minor issues during our stay. the shower curtains in the rooms didn't keep the water in, resulting in soaked floors.

The property had an impressive entrance and beautifully decorated lobby for the Christmas season. Our room had a spacious balcony with a great ocean and pool view. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the service was exceptional. The food in the main buffet area was delicious, providing good variety. The beachfront was stunning with white sand and warm blue sea. The pool area was also enjoyable, and we had a great time.

I had an incredible stay at this beachfront resort. The room upgrade was a dream with a large balcony overlooking the crystal clear Caribbean waters. The inclusive package allowed us to enjoy delicious meals at the various restaurants, with a special mention to Hacienda Sisal. The staff was amazing, and the activities provided added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. The beach was absolutely fantastic and one of the nicest I've ever been to. this resort provided great value for money and I can't wait to go back every year.

Hard to think of anything

The location on the beach is amazing. We loved that we had access to all the Royal properties and the free shuttle was convenient. The food at the hotel was wonderful, especially the El Conquistador restaurant at Royal Islander. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a nice balcony with an ocean view. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
