Exceptional stroll-friendly getaway near shopping and attractions

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this charming hotel, perfectly situated just a few steps from the Laguna Hills Mall and a variety of restaurants and shops, making it so easy to explore the area on foot; with lovely gardens and fountains enhancing the atmosphere, it felt like a peaceful retreat while still being close to vibrant attractions like the Irvine Spectrum Mall and beautiful Newport Beach, plus the friendly staff and cozy rooms added to the welcoming experience. But, while the decor holds a quaint charm, some aspects could benefit from modernization.

The decor felt a bit outdated, and the bathroom had a low-pressure shower head that didn't match the promotional images. Temperature control was effective, keeping the room cool. I enjoyed the peacefulness of the space, despite some noisy guests next door. The carpet had a noticeable crease, which was slightly bothersome. Staff service was mixed; late check-out was limited. the free breakfast offered a fresh variety, and the central location made it easy to explore nearby attractions.

Laguna Hills Lodge offers a comfortable stay with clean rooms and beautiful grounds. The central location is convenient for accessing nearby attractions. noise from traffic and outside guests can be disruptive, especially in Building C, so consider requesting a room in a quieter area.

The beds were pure bliss, making it impossible to leave! Every corner of the room was clean and inviting, and the beautiful gardens added a magical touch to my stay. I loved soaking in the heated pool while soaking up the Californian sun!

Pleasant location. Abundant greenery and just a quick drive to the ocean. Nearby dining options are plentiful. Clean premises and friendly staff stand out. Spacious room with two queen beds, fridge, microwave, and a decent breakfast included. noise from neighbors disrupted our peace. Incidents with unruly guests require better management. Hallway cleanliness left much to be desired. Staff was accommodating during check-in despite delays; yet, the room’s decor needs refreshing. A single rude interaction with staff was disappointing. Solid value at just over $100 a night, but expect a mixed clientele. Potential for improvement is clear. Would consider returning, but management needs to address these persistent issues.

The rooms are clean and you can walk everywhere you need. The pool’s heated and the hot tub is a nice bonus after a long day.

I can't believe they put me on the second floor again, despite my wrapped ankle! No elevators here and no one would help. Plus, the parking's a mess—too many cars and cones everywhere. Just a frustrating experience overall!

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfy, and breakfast was a solid start to the day. We loved chilling by the cool pool and the hot tub was a soothing evening treat. One thing to note, though not a big deal, the firehouse across the street did bring some noise from horns and alarms, but it wasn't too bothersome as you get used to it! 🏊‍♂️

Super clean rooms and comfy beds! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the beautiful grounds and the nice pool. Breakfast was pretty good too. Just wish the wooden floors didn’t have those gaps, they kinda hurt your feet. great value for the price!
