The property was perfect for families, with lots of fun activities and farm animals for the kids to enjoy. the pool was clean and refreshing, and the breakfast was more than adequate with a coffee machine for a great cup of coffee. the scenic view of the valley and river was a perfect invitation to the nearby national park. a great spot to stay and I look forward to returning in the fall to see the changing trees.

The rooms were a bit outdated and had some strong odors, which made it uncomfortable to breathe at times. the Wi-Fi connection was also slow and had trouble connecting.

We stayed at Lazy J's during our month-long trip along the West Coast from Seattle to San Diego. It quickly became one of our favorite locations. The family-run motel is incredibly friendly and the area is wonderfully quiet with stunning views. We loved watching the hummingbirds just outside the reception area. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed including two armchairs, a coffee table, and a mini-refrigerator. It was helpful that we could connect with the room next to ours, as our child with special needs can be noisy. The pool and laundry facilities were great additions, and the nearby landscape was absolutely beautiful. The staff was super friendly and provided us with useful information on local weather conditions and the best route to the Sequoia Park.

The room with a full kitchen was perfect for our family, and the baby goats on the property were absolutely adorable. The access to the River trail was a great bonus, and the staff provided helpful information on how to get to Kings Canyon. a charming and comfortable property in the heart of nature.

The motel had a lot of amenities like volleyball, pool, swings, and BBQs, perfect for friends who like to have fun. Easy access to the slide rock area and just a short drive to the entrance of Sequoia. Don't miss the "Humming Bird" feeders by reception, the wild birds are so colorful!

The location of the hotel was very convenient for visiting the nearby national parks. the staff was friendly and provided clear instructions for check-in. the rooms were relatively clean and had basic toiletries provided. Additionally, having a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room was a nice convenience.

The storage space in the rooms was a bit limited, which could be challenging for guests with a lot of belongings. the breakfast offered was basic and could have been improved with fresher options.

The best aspects of our Christmas stay were the cozy and homey atmosphere of the place. The rooms were situated in separate cottages, which added to the charm and privacy. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room had a kitchenette, allowing us to have breakfast items at our convenience. Additionally, the location of the motel was perfect for us as it was very close to the beautiful landscape and recreation areas nearby.

The worst aspect of our stay was the thin adjoining door between our room and the neighboring one. We could easily see into the other room and hear the guests, which was a bit of a privacy concern.
