I absolutely loved the charm and accessibility of this hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and well-equipped. The little tables outside our room were a great spot to enjoy a morning coffee while taking in the beautiful surroundings. The location was also convenient, with easy access to trailheads and outdoor activities. The food and service at the on-site saloon were excellent, making it a convenient spot for a bite to eat.

We stayed at this lodge for our biking trip and it was perfect. The room was just like we saw online, cozy and comfortable. Many outdoor enthusiasts were staying here, creating a great atmosphere. The saloon was a fantastic place to relax and meet friendly people after our drive. The staff was wonderful, taking care of us in the Sawmill Restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent meal. The second bedroom, located on a balcony, provided us with separate space. a nice place and we would stay here again.

We stayed at the charmingly remodeled Lenroot Lodge for our family vacation. The beautiful building had plenty of space for our family of 4, with a loft that the kids loved. The friendly staff made us feel right at home. We enjoyed the delicious food at the nearby Sawmill restaurant, which had an authentic local character. The lodge's perfect location allowed us to easily access the Birkebeiner cross-country ski trails and enjoy the stunning scenery. a comfortable accommodation with everything we needed.

The pictures on the website don't do justice to the clean, well-ventilated rooms and comfortable beds at this surprising gem in the woods. The location was ideal for our trip, close to beautiful lakes and our friends' home in Cable, Wisconsin. The lodge itself, once a local school, has been nicely remodeled with authentic, handmade features. The proximity to the Sawmill restaurant and the famous Birkebeiner cross-country ski trails added to the charm of our stay.

The room was spotlessly clean and had beautifully gleaming hardwood floors. The staff at the nearby saloon were very friendly and accommodating.

The air conditioning unit in the loft was not able to reach the bed, making it unusable. The noise from neighboring guests coming home late at night and gathering outside our window in the morning was extremely disruptive to our sleep.

The rooms were spacious and unique, with beautiful views of the river. the staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. the nearby hiking and biking trails were a big hit with our out of town guests.

The TV in the room was small and only had a few channels, which made unwinding in the evening a bit difficult. the refrigerator didn't get very cold and there was no freezer, which was inconvenient.

We come each year to celebrate our May wedding anniversary because we met at the Sawmill and Birkie Trail. Our wedding was at OO! Clean and great location. The food and service at the Sawmill is excellent. Care has to be taken though when climbing the circular staircase to the upstairs bedroom. Beautiful setting and gardens. Decor of lodge and the restaurant wonderful, many artifacts of local and historic culture. Great selection re food and beer, wine. Both dinner and breakfast great. Great location close to ATV trails and bike trails. The hotel room was very clean and included a coffee pot, microwave, hair dryer and fridge for basic conveniences. The charm, accessibility, the little tables outside our room that you could sit and have your coffee in the morning while watching the birds and just taking in the beauty around you. The flowers and decor around the property just added to the beauty. Our room was very clean and the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. The location to trailheads and other outdoor activities was great as well.
