We had a wonderful stay at The Steward, a beautiful hotel in Santa Barbara. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the staff were fantastic. They even loaned us a wine bottle opener so we could enjoy a bottle of wine in the lobby while we did our laundry in their convenient laundry room. The breakfast at the bar/restaurant on the property was delicious, and we even received a 15% discount. The location was perfect for us, as we were visiting UCSB, which was just a few miles away. Parking was a breeze, and it was great that it was free and close to our room. we loved our stay and would definitely come back.

Close to campus and amenities, secluded with beautiful gardens, large comfortable rooms, nice pool, great complimentary breakfast, superb staff. Stayed multiple times, will return.

I absolutely loved my recent stay at The Steward! The building itself is stunning, and everywhere I walked, I could smell the fragrant scents that filled the air. The staff at the Sexton house were incredibly lovely and made me feel so welcome. The breakfast, cooked fresh every morning, was a delightful treat. Plus, the complimentary drinks and nibbles added a special touch to my stay. And let's not forget the beautiful beach, just a short walk away, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Now, there were a couple of minor inconveniences during my stay. the pull-out couch I slept on was not the most comfortable.

The location was convenient, right off the freeway, with secure parking and a decent pool. a wonderful experience at a great value.
