I recently stayed at a wonderful resort in a tranquil area. The property was well maintained and extremely clean. The staff members were friendly and kind. The views from the room were breathtaking, and the beach was beautiful. We enjoyed paddle boating and the kids loved the pool. The restaurant, Clifty Creek, served perfect food. The resort also had a lovely balcony and free popcorn in the lobby.

We got great value for our money at this beautiful and clean resort. The cabins with their own docks were a hit with the kids, who loved fishing every morning and evening. The staff was friendly and involved, even taking pictures with my kids after the ultimate sandcastle build. The resort offered a variety of activities for the whole family, making it perfect for a memorable family vacation.

The morning meal could be improved with the addition of lids on the chaffers to keep the food warm.

I recently stayed at a charming, rustic cottage in a secluded area at Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the deck provided a peaceful view of the lake. Although there were a lot of stairs, once I made it down to the fishing dock, it was a serene and tranquil experience. The dining options at the lodge were delicious, and the pool and public beach were great amenities. The lack of cell reception was actually a blessing in disguise, allowing me to truly relax. I would highly recommend this getaway.

The cottage appliances could use an upgrade, especially for larger families.

Amazing lake views from the private balconies or patios of the rooms. the Easter buffet dinner was a great experience with a variety of dishes and excellent service. Fun Easter Egg Hunt and picture-taking with the Easter Bunny organized by the park rangers.

The price of the Easter buffet dinner was a bit high at $98 for 6 people. the wait for a table during busy times can be longer than expected.

As women traveling alone, we loved the beautiful and well-kept park, the comfortable beds, and the complimentary breakfast. The location was superb, with a wonderful view of the lake and great walks.
