The breakfast at Pettigru Place was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed a mouthwatering stuffed French toast with homemade caramel sauce and fresh whipped cream. The variety of dishes they served was impressive too, like roasted mango and potato ebelskivers. I left the table feeling completely satisfied and energized for the day ahead.

The steep steps at Pettigru Place made it a challenge for me to get my 50lb luggage up to my room. However, another helpful guest kindly lent a hand and assisted me.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming bed and breakfast. The innkeeper warmly welcomed us and provided a delightful wine and cheese tray in the afternoons. The Brass Giraffe Room was cozy and the rain shower in the en-suite bathroom was a wonderful addition. The location in the Historic District allowed us to easily walk into town and enjoy the many dining options. The breakfasts were exceptional, with unique and delicious dishes that we had never tried before. The staff, including Lori, provided great recommendations for local restaurants. We also loved the hotel facilities, including the spa tub in the deep claw-footed tub, where we enjoyed a glass of wine and some of the best oatmeal chocolate chip cookies we've ever had.

Not only are the prices reasonable, but the attention to detail throughout the property is remarkable. From the meticulously maintained gardens to the bright and cheery rooms, every aspect of this hotel has been thoughtfully designed. The location is perfect, providing easy access to downtown while still offering a peaceful and quiet ambiance. The staff members are friendly and accommodating, making the entire experience enjoyable. Plus, the basic amenities provided in the rooms, especially on the first floor, add to the overall comfort and convenience.

Couldn't stay longer.

We stayed at Pettigru Place for a weekend getaway between Charleston and the Smokys. The Plum Blossom room was beautifully decorated with a terrace and an amazing bathroom. The location was perfect, with easy access to town and the swamp rabbit trail. The host, Lori, was wonderful and the home cooked breakfast was delicious. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and the staff was hospitable. We especially enjoyed the coffee station and evening wine and cheese tray.

Totally recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Pettigru Place Bed & Breakfast! The African-themed Giraffe room on the first floor was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The highlight of our stay was the delicious breakfast with homemade cobbler and a sharing of recipes. The location was perfect, just a short walk to downtown Greenville for the farmers and art market. We were also impressed with the friendly staff and the ease of check-in and check-out. we highly recommend this charming and welcoming B&B.
