Built in 1946 as a movie set, the rooms are funky and cozy. Close to Joshua Tree for great stargazing. Excellent meals at Pappy and Harriets. Beds and bedding were comfortable for a good night's sleep. Staff was kind and helpful.

I had such a fabulous experience at this quaint desert motel. The night sky was absolutely breathtaking, and I even had a friendly woodpecker visit me outside my room. The comfortable bed and hot drinks available round the clock made my stay even more enjoyable. Plus, the location was just a short drive away from stores and eateries. I highly recommend this motel for a peaceful and enchanting getaway.
