Great beach access and huge indoor pool. Staff could be friendlier.

The room was a good size, providing ample space for our family of four. the beds were small and lacked comfort—not ideal for restful nights. The decor felt outdated, particularly with the furniture and popcorn ceilings. Temperature control was effective, keeping the room cool. Noise from the hallway could be heard occasionally. We appreciated the proximity to the beach and enjoyed having a kitchen, but navigating the digital stovetop was frustrating without instructions. The weak Wi-Fi signal was a downside, making it difficult to stay connected. A broom for the sand would have been useful as well.

The indoor pool was a fun spot, though it got chaotic with kids running wild and zero towels available. Food and drinks were delicious at the bar, and the staff was friendly. the sofa bed had bed bugs, ruining sleep. The room had a mildew smell and wet carpets, making it uncomfortable. Housekeeping barged in late at night, waking us repeatedly. Despite the good beach access and spacious rooms, it felt like issues trumped the positives. There’s definitely a need for better cleanliness and pest control—what should’ve been a relaxing getaway turned into something else entirely.

During my stay, I loved how everything was so close and super convenient; there’s clean beach access just a short stroll away, and I could easily walk to various great restaurants like Lombardi's Trattoria and Liquid Assets in less than a 5-minute walk, making it perfect for leisurely weekend outings or family meals. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and there were nice amenities on-site like outdoor dining and live music that added to the atmosphere. Even though my room had a few quirks, like an AC unit that needed adjustment, it didn’t overshadow the fantastic time we had exploring the nearby parks and enjoying the calm vibe away from the busy boardwalk.

The beach access was amazing, just steps away from the pool area! I loved sipping coffee on our private balcony while watching the sunrise over the ocean every morning. The staff was super friendly, making our stay feel extra special!

The entire weekend was a letdown. The so-called “heated pool” felt like ice water! I couldn't swim with my kids at all. It's frustrating when amenities don’t meet expectations and the staff isn’t helpful or friendly about it.

we loved the oceanfront king suite with a private balcony. the room had a full kitchenette, comfy bed, and stunning views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. super clean, friendly staff, and access to a heated indoor pool. fitness center and convenient parking. perfect location near restaurants and the beach.

our experience was a bit bumpy. The room we booked, a Queen Suite w/ partial Ocean View, turned out to be much smaller than expected. The water pressure was almost non-existent, and we had issues with the bathtub draining properly. we encountered some cleanliness issues in the room, including finding an empty beer bottle and dishes left in the dishwasher. The room didn't seem to have been cleaned thoroughly, which was disappointing. the front desk staff were always friendly and helpful, and my sons enjoyed the pool area a lot. The hotel's proximity to various stores was convenient for us as well. One major drawback was the lack of maintenance in the room - from non-functioning door locks to fluctuating shower temperatures and an uncleaned room throughout our stay. The pool area also seemed to lack proper supervision, with loud guests and kids playing inappropriately. In summary, while Princess Royale has its positives like friendly staff and a good location, the cleanliness and maintenance issues in the room need to be addressed for a more enjoyable stay.

I relaxed in an oasis uptown with amazing beach access and Olympic pool. The Atrium Bar converted from a sundeck was a hit! I loved the golf courses with skyline views.

Wonderful beach access and friendly staff.

Our recent family vacation to the oceanfront resort in Ocean City, Maryland, was a delightful experience. The convenient location near various museums and attractions provided both facts and fun for our children. Exploring the championship courses like Bay Club East, Bay Club West, and Bear Trap Dunes was an exciting adventure for the whole family.

My wife says that more lifeguard supervision at the pool would be great for families with children.

The views from the room are breathtaking. The staff always greets you with a smile, and the indoor pool is a lifesaver when it rains.

The pool's chlorine was as potent as a teenager's cologne.
