The lobby is stunning and captures the historic vibe perfectly. Rooms are spacious and comfy with great amenities like a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, and a big bathroom. There's a cool bar and a steakhouse. Good gym, but a bit cramped at peak times. Starbucks on-site is super convenient. Perfectly located near great restaurants and attractions.

Room 717 was spacious and clean with a lovely vintage vibe, though the noise from other rooms was distracting. Enjoyed the private tour of haunted room 311—really spooky! The location is fantastic, close to shops and a 24-hour cafe. Rooms could use better soundproofing, and the lobby felt a bit dark and unwelcoming. Service varied; some staff were great, while the check-in experience left much to be desired. For the price, a microwave would have been nice, and the hotel restaurant’s prices were steep. Would recommend with some reservations.

The crab fest was amazing, plenty of fresh crab and great sides. The staff was friendly and quick, making sure we had everything we needed.

During my recent stay, I found myself just a few steps away from fantastic dining options like Community Pie and Steamboat Supersandwiches, while major attractions such as the iconic Walnut Street Bridge and the beautiful Chattanooga Riverwalk were just a short 15-minute walk away, making my weekend strolls truly enjoyable; the hotel also had great amenities, including a lovely bar and restaurant, but the single elevator made getting around a bit of a hassle at times.

The lobby was stunning and the happy hour drinks were on point. Unfortunately, parking was a hassle with long valet waits. Rooms could use some updates.

The staff’s dedication to service was outstanding, and the beautifully renovated historic rooms added a unique touch. Walking distance to downtown attractions, plus an unforgettable steak dinner made for a perfect getaway. Highly recommended!

The King room was beautifully renovated with a stunning Art Deco interior. The bed was extremely comfortable, allowing for restful sleep. Noise levels were low during the week, providing a peaceful atmosphere. The room's temperature control worked well, maintaining a cozy environment. the bathroom featured a shower stall with poor drainage, causing water to splash onto the floor. the air conditioning unit had a musty smell and appeared dusty. The lobby ambiance was inviting, but the room showed signs of age compared to the online photos. Room service breakfast was delightful, adding to the overall experience.

The check-in process was such a letdown. The receptionist barely acknowledged me, and the room was a major disappointment—old, worn bathroom with a terrible shower. I expected way more for the price. Just felt so underwhelmed.

The Silver Room is so fancy, I could almost picture myself in a ball gown dancing like royalty. Saw waitresses in 1920s outfits. New Year's Eve Cabaret Party was superb. Full-service Starbucks saved me.

Valet parking was a delightful mess - waiting forever just adds to the charm.

We dealt with ants in our room, which wasn't exactly the roomie experience I hoped for.

Upon entering our room at The Read House, we were pleased to find a spacious and clean environment on the Manor side. The updated room exuded a cool vibe that exceeded our expectations. The ironing facilities came in handy to freshen up our outfits before heading out to explore the hotel. While the room was comfortable, we did notice some areas that could use improvement. The bathroom, although functional, looked a bit dated with peeling paint and exposed pipes. It would have been nice to see more attention to detail in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the room. One disappointment was the lack of a sitting area in the room. A designated space to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing would have been a nice touch. the absence of a turndown service was noticeable, as it could have added a touch of luxury to our stay. the flat-screen TV provided entertainment during our downtime, and the carpeted floor added a cozy element to the room. The availability of room service made dining convenient, although we only utilized it on weekends. Despite the minor drawbacks, the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, especially the valet team. The valet parking service was efficient, making it easy for us to come and go as we pleased. We appreciated the convenience of having housekeeping keep our room tidy during our stay. In terms of amenities, it would have been a nice touch to receive a welcome drink upon arrival, as we've experienced at other hotels in the past. While the absence of a happy hour was noted, we found great drinks at the bar to enjoy in the evening.
