The experience for our anniversary was perfect. I appreciated the early check-in but was blown away by the complimentary champagne that greeted us. The spacious old wing room was cozy, clean, and romantic, and the breakfast buffet offered a great selection. Quite a delightful stay!

The location is truly fantastic! I loved strolling to local shops and dining options nearby. The friendly staff provided great recommendations, which made my adventure even better.

The room I stayed in felt a bit cramped, and I could hear the hallway noise easily at night. That took away from an otherwise pleasant experience.

My room had a sticky floor that wasn't cleaned properly, which made me uncomfortable. Housekeeping didn't replenish basic necessities like toilet paper during my two-night stay unless requested, diminishing the overall experience. Additionally, the breakfast at $15 felt overpriced for what it offered, making me wish for better value during my stay.

I fell in love with Staunton’s culinary scene! The wines were a delightful pairing with local dishes that felt straight from a foodie’s fantasy. The hotel's historic charm and the warm greeting from Theresa at night made the stay feel special. Plus, I was totally digging the charming vibe of the lobby.

The stay could have been perfect except the room floor was not clean, leaving a bit of stickiness from previous guests. A little more attention to housekeeping would have made a great stay even better!

The staff were all super friendly, and I loved the historical touches around the hotel. Got lekker brekkie options nearby, and the coffee was complimentary, which always puts me in a good mood. The room was clean and had plenty of power outlets for charging, ja!

Only downside was the pool area – the hot tub was out of order, which was a bit of a bummer after a long day.

the hotel is conveniently located near charming antique shops and restaurants all within easy walking distance. the staff in the diner were friendly and accommodating with special requests. 🥞 the indoor pool offered a nice way to relax.

We stayed here with our son's family for the Annual Winter Wine Festival. The hotel is beautifully updated, and the buffet breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed drinks at the bar, and the atmosphere was lively even with some staffing challenges.

My kids wished for a fridge in the room for snacks.
