Beds were excellent, furnishings more than adequate. Service/accommodations were excellent even with construction going on. The staff, including Josh, Grace, and Marisa, were absolutely amazing! Breakfast was good and the staff made sure we were fed despite a power outage. Great location close to Hwy 321/parkway and good restaurants.

We had a fantastic stay at Graystone Lodge. The beds were extremely comfortable and the furnishings were more than adequate. Despite the ongoing construction, the service and accommodations were excellent. Plus, the location of the hotel was great and we loved the area.

The location of this hotel was great! It was conveniently close to all the attractions we wanted to visit during our trip. the staff were also very friendly and helpful, providing excellent customer service. We especially appreciated the personalized note left in our room by one of the housekeepers, it was a nice touch.

There were a few downsides to our stay at this hotel. the room did not meet our expectations based on the pictures we had seen online.

The room was spacious and had unexpected amenities like a microwave and mini fridge. a great stay.

During my recent stay at Graystone Lodge, I was delighted by the excellent location of the hotel. It was conveniently situated in town and provided easy access to attractions such as Banner Elk and Valle Crucis. Additionally, being close to the App State campus, restaurants, and a grocery store made it incredibly convenient for us to explore the area. The added bonus of having an indoor swimming pool was especially enjoyable for families like ours.

Even though there were a few drawbacks mentioned in the database reviews, such as the lack of fresh fruit for breakfast and limited parking, I must say that my overall experience at Graystone Lodge, Ascend Hotel Collection was comfortable and enjoyable. The friendly front desk staff was a pleasure to interact with and added to the positive experience.

Clean and comfortable rooms with good amenities like TV, fridge, and microwave. Great location with friendly and helpful staff. Good water pressure in the shower. Nice and clean refrigerator in the room. The hotel has a pleasant appearance from the outside and is quiet even in street-facing rooms.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in the mountains of North Carolina. The value for money was exceptional, with reasonable prices for such a beautiful location. The attention to detail in the recently renovated rooms was evident, with spotless cleanliness and comfortable, new mattresses. The staff were very nice and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The location close to good restaurants was a definite plus, and the breakfast included waffles, which was a delightful surprise.

This hotel was a great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The location was perfect, being close to the uptown area and also in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. The staff provided excellent service and the basic amenities were all in good condition. The rooms were clean and the sheets were superb, ensuring a comfortable stay. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast included delicious waffles.

I was very pleased with my stay here. The hotel is located down the cliff in a no parking area, but really close to uptown area, which was perfect for me. The service provided by housekeeping was outstanding and the room amenities including ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and sitting area were great. The indoor swimming pool was heated and very enjoyable. The staff was always available and very polite.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of visiting the area.
