Dauphine Orleans Hotel Reviews
Great location in the French Quarter within walking distance of many sites. Rooms on the upper level have an outdoor balcony and 2 queen beds, perfect for a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and offered free water bottles every day.
All was fine.
During my stay, I appreciated the hotel's location in proximity to both the French Quarter and Canal Street, which made exploring easy! The staff was helpful and accommodating, offering recommendations for local sights and restaurants. The hotel facilities were well-maintained, and the room was clean and spacious. I especially loved the breakfast offered, which was both delicious and satisfying.
The lack of bellman service made hauling luggage into the hotel a bit of a hassle.
The room was quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel's location was really convenient, as it was close enough to the main attractions to walk there, but far away from the noisy and rowdy crowd. One of the best things about the hotel was the helpful and friendly staff, especially Merv the bell hop, who was always willing to assist with anything we needed.
The hotel was in dire need of renovation. The carpets were worn out and the windows didn't close properly, letting in a lot of street noise. This made it difficult to get a good night's sleep, as the noise from passing cars and garbage trucks collecting rubbish in the early morning hours was intolerable. Additionally, there were no bars in the immediate vicinity, and the hotel's own bar was under renovation during our stay. We can only imagine how loud it would be once it reopens at night.
As foreign tourists, we loved the perfect location of the hotel, just a block away from Bourbon Street and within walking distance of other French Quarter attractions. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and ensuring we had a pleasant stay. The hotel had a charming personality, far more unique than the big high-rise hotels in the area. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The price was also reasonable, making it a great value for our stay. We also enjoyed the breakfast options and the convenience of having a swimming pool on-site.
Felt like family, no complaints.
We loved staying at this hotel! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the French Quarter. We could easily walk to many of the popular sites, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff was really helpful, especially the manager who fixed any issues we had in a timely manner. The room amenities like the ironing facilities, in-room safe, and tea and coffee facilities were great touches that enhanced our stay. Additionally, the bar and restaurant area provided a nice space to enjoy breakfast and drinks.
We highly recommend this place to families.
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the vibrant French Quarter, just steps away from Bourbon Street and the lively French market. With many of the Quarter's top attractions within walking distance, it's the ideal base for exploring the city. The staff is incredibly attentive, providing excellent service and making you feel right at home. The rooms with king beds are well maintained and clean, and I especially appreciated the working window, allowing fresh air to circulate. The hotel offers great value for the price, with attention to detail that is evident throughout.
Nothing to be improved, all was just perfect!
Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms, peaceful pool, nice amenities.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.
Fantastic beds. Quiet location. Friendly staff. Great resource for exploring.
Great location in Louisiana's historic district. Clean and pleasant room with balcony. Pool and Mae Bailey's bar are highlights. Professional staff provided helpful tips. Would definitely consider staying again.
I loved the location of the hotel, very close to Bourbon St. The courtyard was lovely and relaxing. The complimentary drink voucher was a nice touch. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
Friendly and helpful staff, great location near attractions, clean and spacious rooms, quiet and peaceful courtyard, enjoyable pool area.
I recently stayed at a hotel in New Orleans that exceeded my expectations. The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was close to everything we wanted to see and do. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy, which was a pleasant surprise. The housekeeping staff did a great job keeping our room clean and tidy. I was also impressed that our room had a mini fridge, which is a rare find in the Quarter. our stay was fantastic and I can't wait to return!
One small drawback was that the air conditioning in our room wasn't working upon arrival. However, the staff was quick to resolve the issue by moving us to a larger room with a king bed. This room was even nicer than our original selection, and we were very satisfied with the outcome. The hotel staff truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort.
We loved the convenient location of the hotel, as it was close to Bourbon Street for all the partying, but still far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. The hotel was also within walking distance to everything we wanted to see in the French Quarter. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and the facilities were top-notch. The breakfast provided was amazing, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met.
Nothing to dislike.
The hotel was conveniently located near popular attractions and restaurants. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi. The bed was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep.
The room had a strange odor upon arrival, which didn't go away during my stay. The shower had inconsistent water temperature, which was frustrating. The walls were thin and it was noisy at night, making it difficult to sleep. The room decor was outdated and unappealing. The window was not soundproof, resulting in a lot of street noise. I was disappointed with my Easter weekend stay.
