The staff were very helpful and friendly and there was a great restaurant on site that I visited a few times during my stay. This hotel has an excellent location, very near Union Square in the newly renovated area in Downtown San Francisco. The room we stayed in was very spacious with good equipment to keep our own supplies and a built-in TV in the bathroom. The large beds were perfect for central San Fran, and we were pleasantly surprised to find breakfast included.

The noise from the street disrupted our New Year's stay. Even though we were on a high floor, the soundproofing was ineffective. It seemed like we could hear everything, from trucks unloading early in the morning to dogs barking at night. This made it difficult to sleep peacefully.
