The value for our money was excellent, with a beautiful and well-cared-for older gem of a hotel. Our room on the 11th floor was cozy, with a comfortable bed and the best hotel shower ever. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Sixth Street. The staff was attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay special.

The breakfast could have been better with more variety.

Located in the heart of downtown, The hotel is close to everything happening on 6th Street and just a short walk away from the capitol. The valet staff will make sure you get there with great directions. The vintage decor of the rooms and bathrooms are super cute, and the breakfast at the café was top-notch. The hotel bar is cozy and well-designed.

The panhandlers in the area were a bit concerning at night, but this is a common issue in the city.

We loved the location of the hotel, right in the middle of 6th street. The room was very comfortable with a great atmosphere, and the staff was accommodating when we asked for more towels. Overall I’d recommend it for a weekend getaway.

This hotel was beyond our expectations! the restaurant, bar, and cafe were all amazing. Plus, the live blues music at the nearby venue was fantastic. We can't recommend it highly enough.

The valet parking was not clearly marked and the shower diverter didn't work initially, although it was promptly fixed. the metal bed frame was squeaky and the vintage room's decor felt more 1930s than 1880s.

I recently stayed at a historic hotel in the heart of a vibrant city during my trip. the lobby had a charming ambiance that transported me back in time, and the bar had a cozy atmosphere perfect for enjoying a few drinks. the staff at the front desk and in the breakfast café were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home.

I was a bit disappointed with the service in the bar/lounge. It was difficult to get the attention of the servers, even though they weren't very busy.
