The hot tub was a perfect way to warm up on a chilly day. We also enjoyed the delicious food and drinks at The Tavern. The cozy bathrobes provided in the room were a nice touch, and we loved that they even had individual treat bags for our furry friends. The grounds were beautiful, with lovely gardens to explore. The rooms were tastefully decorated with a culinary theme, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The resort also had a great pool and hammocks for relaxation. a wonderful experience.

The Essex Resort & Spa was an amazing experience! I had the opportunity to attend a street fair nearby and explore a museum. the fair was a great way to meet new people, while the museum provided a relaxing walk around the grounds for about 90 minutes. the highlight of my stay, however, was definitely the Spa. From the moment I arrived, the friendly and confident staff made me feel at ease. the property itself was clean, and I loved the indoor pool and outside hot tub. it was a perfect getaway.

I recently stayed at a hotel with great amenities. The Tavern had delicious food, including mussels with bacon and chicken & waffles. The vintage-looking fridge and cookbook-style guest book were a nice touch in the Mansion building room. The staff, including Brianna and Mark, were attentive and knowledgeable about local breweries. The indoor pool was warm and the nightly s’mores packages and hot chocolate were delightful.

Polite staff, helpful and enjoying their work. Music until 11 due to a wedding reception, noise reduced after two calls. Dinner was excellent. Limited options for nearby restaurants. Highly recommended for food. Appreciate the effort of hardworking staff during the holidays.

Comfortable room with the option to request a cot. Nice pool and 2 hammocks for relaxing.

As a young family, we loved the fantastic spa with friendly staff, the refreshing outdoor and indoor pools, and the delicious food at the hotel restaurant. The spacious room and beautiful grounds added to the relaxing experience.
