The front desk staff were super nice showed real care and helped us settle in quickly the walking tour was fun and guided so well that I really felt the stories of the place come alive

Conveniently located off I-95 for a quick stopover during our northbound journey. The free breakfast, although carb-heavy, had a decent selection of cereal, muffins, and bagels. The eating area was clean and served its purpose well.

The front desk experience was not the best, as they seemed a bit surly and inefficient. The location within the hotel was not ideal for seniors, lacking convenience and accessibility.

The front desk staff was amazing, greeting me with smiles every morning! My room was super clean and the bed was beyond comfortable. Plus, there are great local spots just a short walk away!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quick response to an issue with the plumbing. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. With numerous dining options nearby and easy access from I-95, this hotel was a comfortable and practical choice for our family trip.

This motel offers an excellent base for weekend strolls with several restaurants just a short walk away, including The Lost Cajun and Arby’s, all within 300 meters, perfect for grabbing a quick bite after exploring nearby attractions like the Florence County Museum and the War Between the States Museum, both just over 4 kilometers away; the rooms are clean and comfortable, ideal for resting between adventures, but the bathroom could use a little upgrade for added convenience.

The room was large and spotlessly clean, which was an immediate relief. A comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. I appreciated having both a lounging chair and a desk with a rolling chair; they provided nice options for relaxation and work. The bathroom was pristine, featuring excellent water pressure in the shower. the ceiling fan made a bit of noise. The staff was friendly and immediately addressed my request for extra soap. Electrical outlets were outdated and occasionally loose. it met my needs but had room for some improvements.

I did notice that the heating in the room was blasting when I first entered, which made it a bit uncomfortable until I adjusted the temperature. The air conditioning also seemed a bit off, as I had to turn the fridge all the way up to get my drinks cold. the beds were on the harder side and not as comfortable as I would have liked. The small trash cans in the room were also a bit inconvenient. the room was equipped with tea and coffee facilities, which I appreciated for a quick pick-me-up in the morning. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms worked well, allowing me to stay connected during my stay. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch for unwinding in the evening, although I did notice some fraying carpet near the bathroom. The bathroom tub did have some slight damage around the drain, but it was still functional. The free toiletries provided were a nice touch, and I was able to request more from the friendly staff when needed. my experience at the Howard Johnson was a mix of positives and areas that could use some improvement. The location off the highway was convenient, and the cleanliness of the room was satisfactory. there were some minor issues with the amenities and comfort level that detracted from the overall experience.

The room felt dirty, and the bathtub had gross stains. The beds were uncomfortable, sinking too much, and one of the pillows was stained. It totally put a damper on the trip.

I started my day with coffee and a muffin, enjoyed the convenience to attractions, slept in a comfortable room, and appreciated the safety measures. The fitness center and outdoor pool provided a good laugh watching me attempt to exercise.
