The rooms were well appointed and had a luxurious feel. the attentive service from the staff, especially the doorman and front desk, was exceptional. the location of the hotel was also a key highlight, with easy access to important landmarks and attractions in the city.

There were a few downsides to my stay. the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room was disappointing.

Great location near attractions, clean hotel, helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast, close to White House and other tourist spots. Perfect for friends going out at nights.

The concierge, Leire Falcon, was helpful and professional. The staff was attentive and friendly. The amenities were a nice touch, including choc and a fridge for personal drinks. The bed was comfortable and the Wi-Fi was great. The bar staff, especially Anthony, provided excellent service.

I loved the old world charm of this historic hotel in the heart of DC, right across from the White House. The staff was so attentive and accommodating. When my room was noisy, they quickly moved me to a better one. Even though I didn't get the White House view, the beautiful fresh flowers in the foyer more than made up for it. I'll recommend this hotel for a luxurious and comfortable stay in DC.

We were thrilled with the location of the hotel, just steps away from major attractions. The personalized service we received made us feel truly welcomed. The bar in the basement was a great spot to unwind after a long day of exploring. Our room was clean and comfortable, with turndown service and cozy robes and slippers. we had a fabulous stay at Hay - Adams and would highly recommend it to others.

As adventure travelers, we loved the outstanding location across from the White House. The bar downstairs was a great place to relax and watch the Olympics. The hotel staff, including the friendly reception and concierge desk, provided excellent service. The room was comfortable, and the complimentary upgrades and little touches like flavoured water in the lobby and bath salts made our stay even more enjoyable.

Inept staff couldn't fulfill simple bar reservation request, no follow-up, argumentative, and poor service. our romantic escape was left with a sour taste due to staff incompetence and an unpleasant experience.

During my Christmas stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the two complimentary welcome drinks offered upon check-in. The hotel's location, only a short walk from major landmarks and attractions, was ideal for exploring the city. Another advantage was the helpful and friendly staff who provided excellent service throughout my stay.

I was the lack of festive decorations and Christmas spirit in the hotel. In contrast to the holiday season ambiance outside, the hotel seemed to lack the festive atmosphere that I had hoped for.

The hotel is situated in a prime location, within walking distance of many of the major attractions in the city. It is close to all the sights, including the Whitehouse and Washington Monument. Additionally, it is adjacent to Lafayette Park, offering a beautiful and scenic view. The rooms are comfortable and the service provided by the staff is impeccable. The meals in the Lafayette room are flawless and the staff are very pleasant and professional.

There have been some negative reviews regarding the lackluster service from the concierge. Some guests have reported difficulties in making reservations and have experienced unhelpful and argumentative interactions with the staff.

Recently stayed at this underrated hotel for our visit to the US. The location is perfect, with major attractions within walking distance and the White House just across the street. The atmosphere is lovely, staff are attentive, and the food is wonderful. Our room was exceptional, especially the comfortable bed and great shower pressure. Everything was spotlessly clean. We were impressed by the superb staff training program and the little touches like complimentary chocolates and a fridge for our own drinks. Highly recommend!
