The amenities, including the fresh baked goods and wine on the second level, were a great added touch. The owners, Dave and Michelle, run the hotel with genuine care and attentiveness. We also loved meeting and bonding with the other guests during breakfast. a truly outstanding experience.

Great location with many restaurants and shops in walking distance. The historical home has intricate details and character, maintaining its authenticity throughout the years. Allowed pets to stay which was a bonus.

The inside of the house was beautiful with lots of history and antique furniture. The breakfast was the best we've had, with freshly made apple Pecan muffins, oatmeal, bacon, fresh berries, and an egg dish. The hostess was very informative about the house and the surrounding area.

I was absolutely mesmerized by the stunning entrance hall, complete with intricate woodwork and beautiful light fixtures. The ambiance of The Richards House felt like stepping into a fairytale. The breakfast served here was nothing short of amazing, with treats and a delicious coffee cake that was to die for. The hosts, Michelle and her team, have a true talent for cooking. The rooms were beautifully decorated, and the bed in the Rose Room was incredibly comfortable. I also loved that there was a fridge stocked with beverages on the second floor. I had a delightful stay at this historic B&B.

While the exterior of the property was undergoing renovations, the inside of The Richards House was absolutely stunning and made up for it. Some minor unfinished details, like peeling paint and a 2-inch space where the carpet met the new bathroom floor, were noticeable, but not enough to detract from the overall charm of the place.

This budget-friendly hotel has a great location just a short walk from the downtown area. Guests can easily walk to all central landmarks and restaurants, but it's also safe to leave the car on the street overnight. The rooms are beautifully furnished with period furniture and lovely en-suite bathrooms with stained glass windows. The hosts are friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast is delicious with homemade treats and snacks on offer.

The shared bathroom could use an update in terms of cleanliness.
