For the price we paid, we got great value. The room was clean and comfortable, with blackout shades and a cozy bed that made for a restful sleep. The location was convenient, just a few blocks from my client office and the Amtrak station. The staff treated us like VIPs, especially my daughter who felt like a Hollywood diva. They were warm, sincere, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

The breakfast option could be improved with more variety or healthier choices.

The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We loved being close to all the restaurants in the Gaslamp district, even though some were unfortunately closed during our visit. The staff, particularly Paulina at the reception, was kind, warm, and always had a smile. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, and transportation options made our stay here enjoyable.

The room is equipped with a fridge and a microwave, which is convenient for guests who want to store and heat their own food. The Sofia Hotel offers a comfortable and convenient stay.

Recently stayed at a cool, clean hotel in downtown. Friendly and helpful staff, especially at check-in. Impressive property with old school Hollywood charm. Beautiful views. Plenty of dining options. Hotel feels like a fancy home, not just a hotel. Conveniently located for both sightseeing and my conference. Good hotel facilities and mostly friendly staff. Special mention to Mr. Brian at check-out. Excellent location downtown.

The value for money was great, and I was pleasantly surprised by the charming and well-designed room. The location was perfect, with easy walking distance to the Convention Centre, train station, Gaslamp, and waterfront. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and personalized the experience for guests.

The comfortable beds and early check-in were a bonus. The hotel provided free bikes, which I loved for exploring the area. The staff were accommodating and quickly moved us to a room with hot water. The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel was impeccably clean, and we were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary water bottles in our room each day. The amenities provided, such as the business center where we were able to print our tickets for the zoo, added to the convenience and comfort of our stay.

The only downside we found was the size of the room. It was a bit small with only a single double bed, but it was nicely decorated and well-maintained.
