Is it hype or the real deal?

Exceptional service with helpful, attentive staff complemented my delightful stay. My river view room was beautiful, offering a serene ambiance perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.

The excessive charges for valet parking felt deceptive, and my experience with the front desk was frustrating when they were unresponsive during necessary requests.

Surprised in the best way!

I was utterly delighted during my stay! The exceptional location, combined with stunning Potomac views from my room, made everything worthwhile. The cheerful staff at check-in radiated warmth, and the rooftop bar offered breathtaking sunset vistas. I highly recommend the Kingbird restaurant for its superb service and delectable food. Truly a memorable experience!

Checkin was a breeze, wicked awesome staff bent over backwards for us when we needed help. The indoor pool was a highlight, truly relaxing vibes. Room service was quick, loved the coffee in the morning! Just wish the breakfast had a bit more variety. felt kinda limited. Oh, and big windows but some were dirty.

The immediate surroundings are desolate!!! Valet parking at $58/day feels excessive!!! Inconsistent cleanliness in rooms is a glaring issue!!! My sink faucet took an age to warm up!!! Fix those maintenance woes immediately!!!

the staff was inconsiderate and the mouse in the lobby was a lovely touch, almost a pet! oh, and can we talk about the filthy balcony covered in bird droppings? truly charming! i expected a complimentary gesture after all these inconveniences but receiving nothing just confirmed my suspicion that i’d simply blend in with the common folk here. disgraceful service!

This hotel really feels like a playground for families! The beautiful Potomac views and spacious rooms made our stay enjoyable with the little one. My kids were thrilled with the indoor pool, and we loved the friendly vibe of the whiskey bar.

the watergate hotel was pretty cool! we got awesome views of the potomac river from our room. The staff were super friendly and helpful. loved the retro vibe of the place, it was like stepping back in time. kingbird restaurant had delicious food, and the rooftop bar was amaziiiing for sunsets. the fitness center had a great view too!

The renovated entry really draws you in, and the Junior Suite was a lovely retreat with a great river view. I enjoyed relaxing at the sauna and indulging in a full body massage at the spa, making my time feel luxurious. Just a heads up, the breakfast isn't served buffet style, but room service was quick and tasty! 😊

I really liked the cozy vibe in this Georgetown spot! Staff was super friendly, and I enjoyed in-room breakfast, the spa was awesome too. Had a chill time at the bar with those nice river views.

Only downside was the confusion finding the entrance at first, and the steam bath could use a nice scent to enhance the experience.
