Starting off, our room felt more like a cozy one-bedroom apartment than a typical hotel suite. The thoughtful amenities, like the local coffee stash and robes, were perfect touches. And don’t miss the charming local eateries just steps away! Honestly, the service was top-notch. the staff really make an effort to ensure you feel at home.

However, accessing the hotel isn’t the easiest. We had to park a block away, which is a hassle with luggage, especially in the rain. The lobby’s access is a bit awkward with the keypad, and it was frustrating that no one rushed to help when we struggled with it. Plus, the noise from the street and creaky floors can disturb your sleep. Definitely bring earplugs!

My stay at The Windsor, Asheville was truly delightful. The beautifully decorated room felt like a cozy one-bedroom apartment, complete with a full kitchen and a useful washer/dryer. I thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary snacks available in the lobby, making my stay even more comfortable. The staff members were exceptionally welcoming, attentive, and eager to provide recommendations for local dining options, which enhanced my overall experience.

Parking was a bit inconvenient.

The eclectic suite decor brings a unique vibe with local art and pottery, making the space feel cozy and inviting. The access to a washer/dryer and full kitchen definitely adds convenience for longer stays.

Getting to the parking lot is a hassle since it's a few blocks away, particularly in bad weather. The elevator was broken during one stay, forcing older guests to struggle up the stairs. Noise from nearby clubs can disrupt sleep, and the original hardwood floors make every footstep from above sound like a stampede. Plus, temperamental air conditioning made some areas uncomfortable, and the limited public spaces for gatherings left something to be desired.
