But, oh dear, those heavy doors! I felt like I was wrestling a bear each time I left the room!

During my recent transit stay, I appreciated the convenient location near the West Baton Rouge Convention & Visitors Bureau, which made it easy to explore the area. The breakfast options were promising. however, I found the sausage to be too dry for my liking. One notable drawback was the heavy room doors that were difficult to open, which could use improvement. Overall, my stay had some challenges, but it served its purpose for a brief visit.

The location and exterior were delightful, right off the interstate. Check-in was a hassle, as the initial room was canceled, but we finally got a room. The breakfast spread was good, with friendly staff. The room itself left something to be desired, with cleanliness being a concern. I would consider returning despite some issues.

The staff truly made my experience special with their warm smiles and friendly attitude. Plus, the spacious living areas and cozy beds provided a perfect retreat after busy days!

However, I did encounter some issues with the breakfast quality, and the lack of variety was disappointing. The fire alarm unexpectedly went off during my stay, causing uncertainty.

the location of towneplace suites was great, right off the interstate before you hit baton rouge. i loved soaking in the outdoor pool, and the fitness center was open 24 hours, which was a nice touch during my stay. the exterior of the hotel was really nice too.

the breakfast was 'promising' but tasted less than fresh, and the staff? let's just say their smiles must be on vacation. and after all the trouble with my room keys, you’d think a complimentary bottle of water for my troubles would be appropriate, but alas, no. just couldn’t bring myself to give this a good review.

Spacious rooms and a fantastic breakfast with a variety of options. Check-in was frustrating. They do offer bicycle rentals nearby, which is a nice touch.

the outdoor picnic area is great for evening gatherings. the noise from neighboring rooms was distracting.

The room had a decent layout and the breakfast options were enjoyable. However, the cleanliness was concerning, especially in the bathroom, which had lingering hairs and seemed neglected. The air conditioning unit was quite loud, making it difficult to rest after a long journey. On a brighter note, the staff were friendly and responsive, demonstrating good customer service.

the kitchenette setup was fabulous, especially the stove and dishwasher.

The hotel was super up to date with modern facilities. clean and quiet. loved the complimentary gas grill and fire pit in the picnic area!
