great location and nice updates

Older lodge but very well-kept. The indoor pool was awesome and the grounds were stunning. Rooms had all the basics like AC, fridge, and flat-screen TV. Musty smell in the room and AC issues on the second night. Buffet meals were plentiful but a bit pricey. Staff were super friendly.

The location was fantastic for hiking and enjoying the state park. The air conditioning left the room quite damp.

Great for a weekend pause in Marshall with incredible value for money. Beautiful scenery and well-landscaped area.

Couldn’t fault.

The cabin was comfortable, with clean linens and a cozy bed. it felt chilly returning after a swim. The bathroom cleanliness could be improved, as there were sticky floors and some dust. Though the room was adequate, small cobwebs behind the door hinted at a need for better upkeep. Noise from machinery during our pool visit made it challenging to relax. The location was excellent for hiking, adding to the charm of the experience. attention to standard cleaning practices would enhance the comfort significantly.

I was really bummed that our room wasn’t cleaned during our two-night stay. No fresh towels or made beds? I ended up running to the front desk for basics—it seriously felt like more work than vacation!

The indoor pool was the perfect retreat after a long hike! The staff made us feel right at home, and I’m still dreaming about that delicious breakfast buffet. Plus, the hardwood floors and cozy beds made our stay feel extra special!

Charming spot near beautiful parks and delightful attractions

During my stay, I found this charming resort to be ideally situated just a short walk from the stunning Turkey Run State Park, only about 1 kilometer away, making it perfect for leisurely strolls and nature explorations; we also enjoyed the nearby Wilkins Mill Covered Bridge, which is less than 3 kilometers from the property, as well as the cozy atmosphere of the lodge that features a lovely fireplace and games area. The rooms were comfortable and clean with attentive staff ready to help at any moment, but I would have appreciated a fan in the bathroom for added comfort.

During our stay at the cabins, we enjoyed the beautifully maintained trails, which provided a peaceful and scenic environment for our family hikes. The cleanliness of the cabins and the smooth check-in process also added to our overall positive experience. Although we found the restaurant food quality disappointing, we appreciated the option to bring our own food and make use of the cabin amenities for a comfortable stay.

The snorkeling experience was breathtaking and the guides were super friendly. Their equipment was top-notch and helped us feel safe in the water.

It wasn't cheap , but worth every penny.

The cabins were clean and comfy, with our two connected by a door—perfect for families. The trails were stunning and fun, especially the section with ladders. Kids loved the pool, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The restaurant’s coffee was no good, but at least it was hot! A small table in the cabin would have been nice. Bugs were a minor nuisance, and the buffet was underwhelming. Accessing the room could be tricky with luggage, but I managed. The park's beauty and variety of outdoor activities, like the playgrounds, made up for these small hiccups.
