I had a fantastic stay at the cozy Twin Gables. The character of the older house with doilies on the end tables brought a homey comfort that I really appreciated. The location was perfect for strolling around and exploring Woodstock. The staff went above and beyond when my husband lost his keys and they rallied together with other guests to find them. The value for the price was decent compared to other options in the area. I felt welcomed and comfortable during my stay at Twin Gables.

Chatting with other guests made it even more jaw-dropping. The location was right in the heart of town, and everything was so clean. The staff was incredibly pleasant, and the old yet quaint decor added to the charm. Our room was roomy enough and had a stunning Victorian style. The receptionist went above and beyond, calling us late at night with clear instructions and leaving us the keys. The sitting room was like a vintage treasure trove, filled with kitschy art. And guess what, no TVs anywhere! But it made our conversations with other guests feel natural and engaging the next morning. The owner was so friendly, making us feel right at home. The inn provided plenty of off-street parking, and we were in walking distance to absolutely everything - shops, restaurants, activities, and more. The comfortable sitting area outside was surprisingly not buggy at all. The light breakfast of muffins, pastries, fruit, coffee, and tea was just perfect. With free wi-fi in the rooms, off-site car park, and amazing nearby activities like cycling, canoeing, fishing, and skiing. Plus, it's a no-pets allowed and no-smoking on-site haven. We'll definitely be back and enthusiastically recommend it to everyone!

The fire pit and gazebo were perfect for mingling with fellow travelers. a fantastic experience in a convenient location. Free Wi-Fi was a bonus. We'll definitely be back!

My husband and I stumbled upon Twin Gables on a snowy winter day during our road trip through the Catskills. We were immediately drawn to the charming 19th-century house and decided to book a room. We were warmly greeted by a friendly lady who showed us to our spacious and beautifully decorated room. The attention to detail was impressive, with clean and crisp bedding, floral wallpaper, and period furniture. The en-suite bathroom was also well decorated and had a nice selection of eco-friendly toiletries. Despite being next to the front door and communal living room, our room was surprisingly quiet and we slept well.

We had a lovely stay at Twin Gables. the location was fantastic, right on the main street and within easy walking distance to everything. Our triple room was spacious and had great natural light. We were pleasantly surprised that there was no street noise despite facing the front of the house. the breakfast, delivered to our room, consisted of freshly baked croissants or muffins, yogurt, fruit. the shared bathroom situation was not an issue as there were multiple bathrooms available for use. the house had a charming old-world charm with games and music in the lounge area. Parking was easy with plenty of spaces available.

twin gables of woodstock was even better than my last visit. the cozy decor gave off a charming and nostalgic vibe, making it a comfortable stay. the friendly staff and warm welcome added to the welcoming atmosphere.

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The location was perfect, right near the center of town. We were within walking distance of pretty much everything, including the main attractions, shops, and restaurants. The hotel facilities were great, with a big sitting room where we could talk to other guests. The staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

Twin Gables is a beautiful hotel situated in the heart of a trendy area, within walking distance to great restaurants and shops. The manager was friendly and gave us a warm welcome, providing a helpful tour and offering assistance throughout our stay. The room was quaint and had fantastic water pressure in the shower. The front yard was a romantic spot for evening relaxation, and having a shared refrigerator and coffee/tea amenities added convenience. The private parking was a huge advantage in the busy area. Twin Gables provided a unique and enjoyable experience for our stay.

The breakfast offerings could have been improved with the addition of a mini hand lotion container in the bathroom, along with the shampoo and conditioner provided.
