Good location and price. Small rooms, but clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Limited food options, but plenty of nearby alternatives. Small pool, but a pleasant bar area. No scenic views.

Our stay at White Sands was absolutely amazing. The location was perfect, only a short walk to all the attractions in Waikiki. The hotel had a great vibe and a lot of character, which made it stand out from the bigger hotels nearby. The nightly entertainment was a highlight, providing us with enjoyable evenings. The staff at the hotel, especially Christieann and Christina at the front desk, were fantastic. They made us feel like returning family, providing excellent service and showing genuine care for our needs. I highly recommend staying at White Sands Hotel for a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Although our stay was wonderful, there were a couple of minor issues. we noticed some small ants in our room, but we didn't report it to the front desk until the day before we left.

Well-equipped, clean rooms with spacious refrigerators and microwaves. Beautiful tropical garden with BBQ area. Safe location with 24-hour front desk and security. Centrally located near shopping center and beach. Helpful and friendly staff with big smiles.

This hotel is located just 10 minutes away from Waikiki Beach. You can even reach the beach on foot. Additionally, the hotel has all the basic amenities needed with great attention to detail, and the staff provides great services. I loved the balcony rooms that come with a sofa bed right in front of the hot tub. Last but not least, the breakfast served with excellent local Kona coffee was included and a great value for money.

During Christmas, I had a delightful stay at a hotel in the heart of Honolulu. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel like part of the family. the room was clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. I especially loved the fact that I didn't need to use the air conditioning as the room was naturally cool. Additionally, the location was key, with the hotel situated just off a bustling street, making it easy to explore nearby attractions.

There were a few downsides to my stay. there was no coffee pot in the room, which was a bit disappointing, especially during the chilly Christmas mornings.

Base on my experience, it's a great budget choice for those who want a comfortable and low-key experience in a safe neighborhood. The location is really convenient, within walking distance to everything in the area except for just one hotel next door. There are plenty of shopping and restaurant choices available, along with the faboo food court. The room is large enough with all necessary amenities like a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The bathroom is spacious and clean, with great water pressure in the shower. The staff is really helpful and courteous.

At times, other guests can be noisy, and the walls are not sound-proof.

I recently stayed at White Sands Hotel for a week-long vacation with my family. The location was perfect, right in the center of everything, allowing us to easily access popular restaurants, the beach, and shopping within minutes. The pool, although not ideal for young kids, provided a great spot for my children to swim and gain confidence in the water. The hot tub was a nice addition and the bar next to the pool offered a convenient place to relax. Despite being a small hotel, it never felt overcrowded, and we were pleasantly surprised to find boogie boards and beach chairs available for our use.

I would recommend this hotel.

Freshly renovated rooms with super comfortable beds. Spacious rooms with small balconies. Large bathrooms and plenty of clothes storage. Beautiful and quiet pool area. Convenient location near restaurants and a convenience store. Courteous and helpful staff.

Great atmosphere, terrific location, small intimate hotel, beautiful interior courtyard, friendly housekeeping staff.

There was nothing I didn't like.

We loved the old style Hawaiian hotel atmosphere, reminiscent of the 1950's Waikiki hotels. It felt very authentic and Hawaiian, unlike the larger chain hotels in the area. The location was perfect, in a safe neighborhood that was just a short walk away from the beach and the international market place. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, considering how busy the area is. The hotel facilities were great, especially the spacious kitchen in our room. The staff, particularly Christeann, were friendly and welcoming. We were also grateful for the early check-in option.

The pool area was fantastic, with comfortable lounge chairs and both a pool and hot tub for relaxation. The location of the hotel was great, just two blocks away from the beach. The room itself was clean and had been nicely updated. We especially loved having a balcony, which provided a lovely additional space.

I loved staying at this place! Everything was perfect. The location is so convenient, close to everything by foot and also near the bus transportation. The service was amazing, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. I loved the welcome drink and room amenities like ironing facilities and mini-bar, and the free wi-fi in the rooms was so useful. The outdoor swimming pool was really nice, and I enjoyed sitting in the garden furniture. The dining restaurant and poolside snack bar were great too. I especially appreciated how responsive the staff were, with the excellent service provided by the team, like Judy the manager who is terrific and Aaron the front desk clerk who is wonderful.

Recommend this hotel to family.

This hotel ticks all the right boxes for a budget-friendly stay. the prices are incredibly reasonable, making it excellent value for money. Secondly, the location is ideal - within easy walking distance of the beach and close to pick-up points for tours and buses. You can even enjoy a morning swim in the pool to cool down before heading out for the day. The staff is fantastic and friendly, always ready to assist and make your stay pleasant. And let's not forget the breakfast, which includes excellent local Kona coffee - a great way to start the day!
