However, I must say, the room service menu had me wondering if I had accidentally checked into a fast-food joint. Let’s just say I wasn’t exactly inspired to order anything!

I had a lovely experience at Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort. The staff were incredibly attentive, and my room was equipped with a kitchenette, making it easy to enjoy meals in. The proximity to Eagle Beach was outstanding, allowing for wonderful beach days without hassle. I appreciated the complimentary beach towels and floaters provided for our use, and the beautiful landscaping of the hotel added to its charm. Each evening, our room was treated to little chocolates, a sweet touch that made our stay even more enjoyable.

The only downside was occasional noise from nearby traffic.

We loved waking up in our spacious two-bedroom suite, equipped with a full kitchen. The beach was just across the street, and finding a palapa for sunbathing was never an issue. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the visit to Horizons for dinner was a highlight with excellent food and service. A small market nearby made getting snacks easy. Plus, the aloe-based toiletries were a treat!

However, the experience wasn't all sun and fun. There’s a wastewater facility nearby, and the smell can be pretty overpowering at times, especially near the beach and bar areas. Wi-Fi was spotty at best in the rooms and only somewhat reliable in communal spaces. Also, getting a palapa in the morning felt like a race, and high prices for food didn’t match the overall service quality at the beach bar. I waited twenty minutes for drinks while others who arrived later got served first. This was my first trip here and while some aspects were solid, I expected more for the price.

Chilled in a lekker two-bedroom suite, just a stone's throw from the beautiful Eagle Beach. Had the best brekkie at Passions by the ocean, gotta book for those sunsets! Jazzed about the friendly staff who really make ya feel at home, from helping with excursions to just having a good chat. Definitely a nice escape!

The staff was super helpful. especially the friendly concierge who assisted with our excursions. The beach was stunning with free beach beds. just be quick to grab a palapa. Excellent location near the bus for easy travel around the island.

the amsterdam manor beach resort is perfectly located right across from the quiet and beautiful eagle beach, giving easy access to both the serene beach and the lively high rise area. the staff, especially the helpful receptionist, were exceptional. plus, you get free beach beds! we enjoyed our stay and found the nearby bus service very convenient.

the palapas go quickly, so be prepared to wake up early for a spot.

yo, this place is super chill right across from eagle beach! the staff is really nice and friendly, and the breakfast at passions is a must-try! loved being able to hit the beach in like 2 seconds from my room, and the little kitchen was great for quick snacks. the atmosphere is just so relaxed and not crowded like some other places. definitely the spot for a laid-back vacation!
