My partner and I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Cairns for a week-long getaway. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, assisting us with all our queries and holiday arrangements. Our room was spacious, clean, and serviced daily, with the most comfortable beds and pillows. The hotel's location was perfect, situated just outside the main town area but still within walking distance to all the popular attractions. They even provided a complimentary shuttle bus to downtown Cairns, making transportation a breeze. And let's not forget about the buffet breakfast, which was absolutely fantastic!

In the evening, I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and admiring the beautiful waterfront view across the large esplanade park. The service here was top-notch. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They provided me with a welcome drink upon arrival and even went out of their way to inquire about my well-being when they noticed my wife's dressings. It was such a pleasant and caring atmosphere.

There was some confusion with the room allocation upon check-in. We had booked a queen size room but were initially given a different room.

Rigel at reception provided exceptional customer service, and the breakfast had a delicious variety to choose from. the pool was great for relaxing with a stunning view of the bay, and our room had an outstanding view as well. We were even upgraded to a higher floor and corner room upon check-in. Plus, parking was easy and free.

The hotel seemed a little outdated and could use some renovations. the bathroom in our room was not properly ventilated and had some mold.
