grotto bay is an awesome place to chill! the beach is super pretty and clean. The snorkeling was a blast. the staff were really nice and always ready to help, and that cave swimming was just cool. the food was pretty good too, with some nice local options. oh, and the ocean views? just wow!

but the dining choices felt kinda limited, and we had some issues with noise from the other rooms.

The all-inclusive meal plan feels limited, strictly confined to set times with expectations for water and cocktails, leading to a more restrictive dining experience. Some older facilities are in need of repair. air conditioning units are noisy, and certain rooms may face issues like pest presence or plumbing troubles. The beach can get crowded with local beach club attendees, which can detract from the experience late in the day.

Had a boss time! The staff were dead sound, especially the waiters who made us feel proper welcome. The food was amazing, especially that open buffet on Fridays. it was a feast! The only downside was the beach got a bit busy on weekends.

Had a mighty time soaking in the caves and spotting fish while snorkeling. The omelette bar at breakfast was a treat! Just a bit of a hassle with the beach getting crowded on weekends. Still, the view from my room was pure magic!

The ocean view from our room was to die for! Loved how the cleaning staff kept everything spick and span and the towels by the pool were in plentiful supply. The friendly waitstaff really made our meals enjoyable!

But honestly, hearing my neighbors discuss their dinner plans was like a free reality show—no thanks! And asking if we've checked out while we were ordering lunch? That totally took the cake!

I stayed in the Ocean Front Deluxe King room. The views were unreal, with so many shades of blue in the water. The room was bright and clean, which I loved. However, it felt a bit old-fashioned, but in a charming way. The staff were super nice, especially Ms. Veronica from the restaurant! Super cozy vibes overall. Would definitely return!
