We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Ibis Sofia Airport. The location was convenient for catching our early flight, and the shuttle service provided was excellent. The room, although basic, was clean and comfortable. The dinner at the hotel exceeded our expectations and was reasonably priced. a great value for money, especially for short stays.

In terms of drawbacks, we did encounter a minor inconvenience with the AC system. There were unannounced restrictions and limitations, which caused some inconveniences, particularly in the cold weather.

The dinner was excellent, prepared Vegan style. the location was super, given the super early morning flight, and the shuttle driver was excellent.

Staff were disinterested and not particularly helpful. the free transfer van was full when we needed it first thing in the morning and the receptionist didn’t seem particularly keen on trying to help us find an alternative solution.

The noise level was pretty high, making it harder to fall asleep. the bed wasn’t very comfortable with the mattress not being properly attached to the bed frame and sliding on the floor every time I moved.
