The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The thin ceilings and floors were not an issue during my stay. The view of the St. Lawrence River from the bistro was beautiful. The indoor pool with glass panels overlooking the river was a lovely feature. The buffet breakfast was included in the very reasonable price of $171 Canadian per night. I had a pleasant and enjoyable experience at Riotel. I would recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The staff were friendly and spoke English, making me feel welcome right away. The location was perfect - right on the St-Lawrence with breathtaking sunset views. I loved taking walks on the beach and my kids had a blast too. The hotel had a pool and hot tub, which were a hit with my family. We didn't have time to try out the fat bikes, but it's great that they have them available for guests. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, with pull-down beds that were just as cozy as the regular ones. The hotel also had a delicious restaurant with a complete breakfast buffet. this place provided enhanced comfort and quality services.

Great location with beautiful sea views from the comfortable and modern rooms. Restaurant and bar were good and served delicious food with local products. Loved the opportunity to take a ride along the beach with their free fat bikes.

The carpet in the hallways was stained and had seen better days. Soundproofing was poor, and noise from running, shouting kids made it challenging to sleep.

I had a slightly negative experience during my Christmas stay at a hotel in Matane, but there were a few things that I did enjoy. the hotel had comfortable beds with plenty of pillows, which made for a good night's sleep. the room had a microwave, mini fridge, and a Keurig machine, which was convenient for making hot beverages and storing snacks. the hotel was located near the beach, allowing for a pleasant sunset walk.

The dinner that I had there was not up to my expectations, and I would not recommend dining there. although the indoor pool and hot tub were nice, the bathroom in my room was quite small.

We had a great stay at this hotel, located close to the port and right next to the ocean. The room was clean and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The breakfast at the Cargo restaurant was delicious, and we loved the selection of wines. The hotel's location allowed us easy access to the ferry, making our travels convenient. a nice hotel to stay at.

We did experience some noise from other guests near the reception and restaurant area, which was a bit frustrating at times.

The beds/pillows were comfortable, staff friendly and spoke English, close to ferry, restaurant/pool looked great, wonderful night's sleep, quiet hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of Riotel. Passing through off the ferry, we expected a Travelodge but found a nice modern hotel with large, well-equipped rooms. The restaurant offers a beautiful river view, and there is ample parking space. The sunset by the firepit on the beach and the use of the pool were added bonuses. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the home cooked breakfast was delicious.
