We had a great experience at this hostel. The staff, including Fernando, Nancho, and Andres, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided excellent customer service and genuinely cared about our needs. The location of the hostel was also ideal, being halfway between the airport and San Jose. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a sheet and light blanket provided. We enjoyed the communal spaces and had the opportunity to meet other travelers. The owners even took us to the local supermarket when we arrived late and helped us with setting up a sim card. The breakfast, especially the Galle pinto, was delicious. a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.

We recently stayed at a budget-friendly accommodation in San Jose and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The room was perfect for our family, with four bunk beds and a comfortable king-sized bed for us. The private bathroom was a plus. While the hotel is older and worn, it was clean, and that's what matters most to us. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with valuable tips and advice about the area. The location was also convenient, with the main attractions just a short distance away.

I had such a lovely stay at Gaudys! As soon as I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the family. The room, although small, was perfect for my one-night stay. The bed was incredibly comfy, and I had one of the best nights of sleep in a while. The family home atmosphere made the place cozy, and I even joined in playing PlayStation with some of the family and other guests in the living room. The kitchen was well-equipped, and I enjoyed having conversations with other guests around the lovely big table. The offered dinner looked delicious, although I didn't try it. The family was always available to answer any questions, and the location was convenient with the bus station just a 9-minute walk away. I really loved my stopover at Gaudys and would definitely stay there again if I return to the area.

The layout is nice with covered patios and lots of couches. There's a large grocery store and convenience store nearby. Easy walk to central market and downtown parks. Breakfast is provided with fresh fruit. The staff are friendly and helpful. a great choice for staying in the city.

No hooks or towel space in the tiny room.

The people here were so friendly and made me feel right at home. There were plenty of places to relax and find peace when I needed it. I also enjoyed the fact that there were guitars available to play. the breakfast was a highlight, with a variety of options like pancakes, fruit, and even beans and rice with eggs. the location was also convenient, being within walking distance of downtown and in a nice quiet area.

There were a few things that didn't meet my expectations. the shower was consistently cold, which was quite uncomfortable.
