We had a satisfying and value-for-money breakfast. The hotel provided a relaxing oasis with a nice pool and friendly reception staff. The beds were comfortable and the shower had good pressure. The hotel is walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops.

The location was excellent, being close to the city center and the beach. We enjoyed seeing the cool wildlife on the property, including howler monkeys and iguanas.

Despite some minor issues mentioned in other reviews, we found the overall experience to be very positive. The staff was friendly and understanding, and they promptly switched our room when we had concerns.

The bartender's delicious drinks, poolside lounging, monkeys eating from mango tree, excellent and hearty breakfast with fresh fruit, extremely friendly and helpful staff.

I had a fantastic stay at a lovely little hotel. The check-in process was smooth and the owners were welcoming, providing us with great recommendations for things to do in the area. The rooms were comfortable and the pool was amazing! The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and shops. The breakfast was delicious and a great deal. Parking was convenient and free. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful vacation experience.

The bartender was friendly. Open mic night was enjoyable. Location is excellent, close to a yoga studio, coffee house, and bar. Breakfast options were tasty, with eggs, fruit, beans, rice. Clean room with hot shower and strong water pressure. Beautiful pool area with comfortable chairs. Beds were incredibly comfortable.

Our Thanksgiving experience was amazing! the complementary welcome drink and fruit basket were a great way to start our vacation. the hotel’s central location was perfect for exploring the area and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. the pool and surrounding gardens were stunning and created a relaxing atmosphere.

The room was smaller than expected and the air conditioning took a while to cool down the space. the breakfast had limited vegetarian options and the coffee tasted burnt.

Howler monkeys can be spotted right by the hotel, adding to the exotic atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with spacious bathrooms and walk-in showers. The staff is friendly and helpful, arranging activities such as surf lessons with local instructor Eric. The breakfast is delicious, offering a variety of options. The pool area is a great spot to relax and unwind.

One downside is that the road outside the hotel can be quite dusty, resulting in everything being covered in a thin layer of dust.

The pool at Pasatiempo was absolutely beautiful and a great place to relax. The location was also fantastic, with plenty of nearby restaurants and it was close to the beach. The staff was helpful and prompt in fixing any issues that arose during our stay.

I loved the casual and friendly atmosphere of this hotel. The breakfasts were wonderful and plentiful, and the staff was very helpful in answering questions and making phone calls for us. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and shops/restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.

This hotel is in the perfect location, right on the beachfront and close to downtown. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with nice linens and a spacious bathroom. The staff provides excellent service and the breakfast options are delicious. The pool area is well-maintained and the restaurant/bar onsite offers fun activities and entertainment.

The parking situation could be improved, as it can be a struggle to find a space and the hotel does not prioritize guest parking.
