Great value for money, the room exceeded our expectations with a large jacuzzi bathtub, separate shower, and a living area with a large TV. Excellent location with all the main museums within a short walking distance. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very thoughtful, even offering a complimentary voucher for the bar/restaurant when there was a minor issue with a leak in the bathroom due to heavy rain.

Hotel breakfast could be improved by ensuring that the hot foods are served hot or at least warm.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going out of their way to assist us. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of hot entrees, fresh fruit, and made-to-order omelets. We also appreciated the hotel's convenient parking and easy access to transportation.

We felt very safe and well taken care of during our stay. They provided great recommendations for places to eat and visit. The breakfast was delicious and the room was very clean. We had trouble with sneaky charges at check out, but it was resolved quickly. We would recommend this hotel.

My recent stay at Hotel Presidente in the heart of San Jose was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful building and lobby, as well as the rooftop terrace with its stunning view of the city's monuments. The check-in process was quick and the staff at the reception were exceptionally friendly. The room, though simple, provided great comfort and had a lovely view. The location of the hotel is perfect, with easy access to the National Theatre and Museo de Oro. The breakfast offered a wide range of delicious options, including the excellent gallo pinto. The overall service from the security staff, reception, and maids was top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in San Jose.

This hotel is located right in the heart of the city, near Plaza de la Cultura and the most vibrant areas of downtown San Jose. The rooms come with all the basic amenities, including a jacuzzi tub, 2 double beds, and an individually prepared breakfast with great flavor.

I stayed at the Hotel Presidente for a quick stopover before exploring the museums and it was ideal for my needs. The central location allowed me to easily walk to the museums and the central market. The open plan lobby with its exposed bricks and boutique decor gave a homely feel. I enjoyed the rooftop bar/restaurant with its lovely ambiance at night. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. The breakfast offered a varied selection, including tasty local dishes, and the kitchen staff accommodated my dietary requirements. The staff throughout the hotel were pleasant and helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always going above and beyond to make my experience enjoyable. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and I particularly appreciated the excellent air conditioning in the rooms. The location was perfect, right in the center of the old town, close to museums and the main shopping street. It was a great place to stay when I wanted a break from the beach. And I must mention the delicious breakfast buffet, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I was very impressed with the hotel.
