I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Presidente. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly polite and efficient. Enjoyed the large and filling breakfast buffet, including freshly squeezed orange juice and a fun rooftop bar offering stunning views of the city.

There was some street noise.

Unfortunately, the Uber pickup in front of the hotel was a complete hassle. There was also an incident where a tour bus blocked our car in the parking area, causing us to be delayed by more than 45 minutes when we needed to leave for our adventure. To top it off, the jets in the jacuzzi tubs in both rooms did not work, which was quite disappointing.

the location was decent but the service at the rooftop restaurant was painfully slow, just like waiting for paint to dry. i also would have thought some complimentary gesture or a room upgrade would be standard—i mean, come on. it’s not like my stay was anything special, after all! disappointed woudl ve been an understatement.

i also contacted them about room change prior to arrival, but they woudl ve been better off ignoring me. how dare they not offer even a complimentary gesture for all my trouble. just couldn’t bring myself to give a good review.

The location is perfect for exploring, and the rooftop bar offers amazing views. The rooms are spacious and well-kept. I loved the little fitness area for a quick workout!

the parking area is watched over by a security guard 24 hours a day. the staff's language skills could use improvement, especially with english and portuguese.

Perfect spot in San Jose!

I had a lovely time here! The staff was super friendly, and even helped with my last-minute tour plans. Plus, the breakfast spread was huge and kept me fueled for the day. Just wish there was a microwave in the room, but the restaurant heated my leftovers with no fuss. Great vibes all around!

stayed at presidente for 2 nights and loved the location! it's super close to museums and shopping. the breakfast buffet was amazing—everything from pancakes to omelets. the staff was also fantastic and fixed an issue we had right away.

I loved the fabulous rooftop restaurant and the delicious breakfast with so many options. However, the initial room was a bit dark. I'd definitely return!

hotel presidente was an amazing find! located right in the middle of things, making it easy to explore. the breakfast had tons of options, and the staff were super friendly. we even got upgraded to a larger room upon early check-in, which was such a nice surprise! special shoutout to valerie for her fantastic service.
