Best aspects include the excellent breakfast, the huge pool that looks like a lake, the large territory where we could walk indoors and outside, and the presence of a movie theatre in the complex. The staff were polite and provided great service.

Comfortable and clean room, prompt room service, great food quality and choice, tasty restaurants, top notch wine selection.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room, in the tower, was clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and I was grateful for their kindness. The hotel facilities were impressive, including a nice swimming pool and a beautiful "garden" area. The location, near many embassies, was convenient and provided a good view of the city.

Drawbacks: While our stay was overall enjoyable, there were a few minor issues. The cleaning consistency could be improved, as sometimes certain amenities like slippers or towels were not replaced.

I recently stayed at Sofitel for two weeks and it was a perfect escape from my usual long-term hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing me with a great night's sleep. The super fast WiFi was a major plus, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay. The hotel had a great ambience for both work and leisure. The staff, especially at the reception and coffee shop, were very helpful and attentive. The breakfast had an amazing variety of fruits and juices. The location by the lagoon was perfect for negotiating with taxis and exploring the city.

The concierge service was also top-notch in handling dinner reservations. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I stayed in the newest wing of the hotel and I was impressed with the level of service provided by the hotel staff. The rooms were spacious and the feather beds were incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave in the morning. The rooms and bathrooms were always clean and I appreciated the availability of television and radio. The hotel also had nice decor, clean towels, and top-notch toiletry supplies. The restaurant staff went above and beyond to cater to our preferences, even brewing our Kenyan tea to perfection. The food was delicious, especially the fried plantain and pilaf rice. The floral arrangements throughout the hotel added a vibrant touch to the ambiance, and the Wi-Fi availability made communication easy. The hotel even had a beautiful and expansive swimming pool, although I didn't get a chance to swim. I would highly recommend this hotel for its excellent beds and great food.
