I stayed at Catalonia Royal Bavaro Hotel while transiting through Punta Cana, and its adult-only exclusivity offered a peaceful and relaxing environment. The hotel's convenient location just 25 km from Punta Cana made it a perfect stopover for my travel itinerary.

One minor issue I encountered was the potential sales tactics from staff members at the Exclusive Traveler Club, which can be somewhat intrusive during your stay.

I stayed at Catalonia and had a fantastic experience. The restaurants offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the hotel itself was extremely clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The resort was absolutely beautiful, with well-maintained grounds and a peaceful atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the private beach area, perfect for relaxation. The spa was also a highlight, and the beds were very comfortable. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning!

The beachfront location is stunning and perfect for walks. I loved that all the restaurants delivered delicious food to my room, so I could relax in peace. I had a great stay. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone!

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The location directly at the beach was absolutely stunning. I enjoyed spending my days lounging on the sandy shores and taking in the breathtaking views of the ocean. The staff were attentive and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The basic amenities in the room were more than satisfactory and I especially loved the large bath in the bedroom. Additionally, the breakfast offered at the hotel was delicious and offered a variety of options to suit everyone's taste.

While there were a few minor issues, overall my experience at this hotel was fantastic.

My partner and I recently stayed at Catalonia for a relaxing beach getaway. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We were upgraded to a quieter room category and the waiters at the restaurants were excellent. The menus offered a variety of delicious options, and we particularly enjoyed the buffet breakfast at Thalassa. The pools and beach area were well maintained and provided the perfect spots to unwind. The only suggestion I have is for the hotel to offer smaller bills for tipping.

The hotel facilities were top-notch, with clean and well-maintained grounds. The staff, including Enrique, Serge, Ann, and others, were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect, offering a lot of great amenities and easy access to the beautiful beaches of this region. The breakfast options were also impressive, with a variety of delicious choices to start the day.

Hard to think of anything negative. The hotel provided a seamless and enjoyable stay.

This place is on a beautiful beach with amazing service. The hotel staff is very friendly and tries to accommodate any request. The on-site facilities are great with a leisure pool, spa, and wellness center. You can enjoy games such as table tennis and billiard tables, and activities such as cycling, snorkeling, diving, and golfing. The rooms have great amenities such as in-room air conditioning, flat-screen TV, and mini-bar. The hotel also offers a great variety of dining options.

Families may want to check with the hotel beforehand as this venue is for adults only.

our stay at Catalonia in Punta Cana exceeded our expectations! The resort was lovely and relaxing, with friendly and helpful staff. The food was of great quality and the cocktails were always strong. We enjoyed the beautiful pool spaces and the option to use the sister resort for evening entertainment.

The location of the hotel is simply breathtaking, with views that are hard to describe with words. The beach is amazing, with white sands and turquoise waters, and the beach chairs are very comfortable. The best aspect, however, was the staff, who were always friendly, smiley, and attentive. The complementary cocktails were definitely a plus, as well as the many fun activities available.

The food was not up to our expectations. The buffet was not good, and the food was often cold.

The location was excellent, only 15 minutes away from the airport. The room and grounds were very clean, and the hotel had a beautiful beach and pool area. The service was top-notch, and they even surprised me with a bottle of sparkling wine and a birthday celebration. The restaurants had excellent food, with a variety of delicious options on the menu. The drinks were also strong and enjoyable. I had a fantastic and lovely weekend at this hotel and cannot wait to go back.

Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is delicious and mini-bars are restocked daily. Activities are available for guests to enjoy, and there are birds and fish to feed as well. Late check-out options are available at an additional cost, or guests can store luggage and use the facilities even after check-out.
