the hotel is supposed to be luxurious, yet my room was outdated, definitely not what I expected. the supposed gourmet restaurant served dry chicken, and I was just shocked there wasn’t a complimentary welcome gift for my stay, as any five-star establishment would typically offer. almost left a good review but just couldn’t.

Steigenberger Cecil Hotel exudes an old-world charm, enhanced by its historical significance. Room 410 captured my interest with its spaciousness, perfect for enjoying the sea view. Breakfast was an event in itself with a lovely buffet spread. However, the constant traffic noise did detract from the overall peace I sought.

The historic ambiance and mesmerizing Mediterranean views provided a delightful escape! The staff, especially the warm-hearted personnel, created an inviting atmosphere that truly made us feel at home.

That said, the initial check-in was chaotic! Finding parking in such a bustling area was a challenge, and the management seemed overwhelmed, impacting the overall experience.

The constant noise from traffic was unbearable!!! It seemed as if the modern world had invaded this historic place. The elevators were a quirky charm, but their operation could use an upgrade!!! Also, the dining options felt overly priced considering the quality!!!

Our stay featured stunning views of the Mediterranean from our room and was conveniently located near many excellent dining options and local attractions. The hotel has a historical charm, well-preserved from its 1929 origins, enhancing our overall experience.

My stay was comfortable as the hotel is just a few steps away from the Eliahu Hanady Synagogue and the Imperial Cafe & Restaurant, making it easy to explore local culture and enjoy delicious meals. the room I had offered an amazing sea view, which added a relaxing ambiance to my weekend strolls around the beautiful corniche.

The views from the executive room are truly stunning. The disco noise on the second floor can be disruptive.

This hotel is a delightful dive into history! The old elevator was like stepping into a time machine, and the views of the beach from my room were just fabulous.

However, trying to find a taxi to get around town felt like playing a game of hide and seek – and I wasn't winning! The restrictions on comings and goings? Quite annoying, I must say.

This place suits me perfectly! I love the 24-hour reception, fast wi-fi, and cozy bar/lounge area. The staff even helped me with a wake-up call on my first visit. Highly recommend trying the room service for breakfast! I'm definitely coming back for my next trip.

the location of steigender cecil hotel is fantastic , with tons of nearby restaurants and sights within walking distance. the staff were super friendly and always had a smile, making the stay enjoyable.

It was just an appropriate option for a brief hiatus in Alexandria with exceptional value. The original self-operated lifts were quite a quirky charm, reminiscent of old movies. Try to explore dining options nearby, as the hotel restaurant didn't impress.
