We had a very warm welcome from the owner and the room we stayed in was absolutely stunning, with a beautiful view of the river. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room had all the amenities we needed. We appreciated the information booklet provided by the owner, which gave us great recommendations for restaurants and attractions in the area. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short and easy walk to the center of town.

One potential downside was the parking situation. Although we visited during the off-season and were able to find parking opposite the hotel, it could be more challenging during peak times.

We got great value for our money at Agnes Sorel in Chinon. The room was bright, spacious, and impeccably clean with a breathtaking view of the river from our bed. Fabulous riverside location and short stroll to old Chinon. Roomy double with a peaceful courtyard for a good night's sleep. Civilised breakfast from 8-10 am. Large wet room with a good shower. Free WiFi available. Daniela & Florent are kind and very helpful hosts. The room has a great view of the river. Only a 5-minute walk to the heart of Chinon. Bike storage available for Loire riders. Good value for the price. Plenty of restaurant and wine tasting recommendations.
