We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and we were impressed by the range of hotel facilities available, including a large pool and tennis courts. The location just outside of Cahors was perfect for exploring the area, especially considering it is the original home of the Malbec grape. The beautiful surroundings made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were extremely helpful in accommodating us, and their friendly and professional service made us feel like royalty.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I had the most incredible stay at a stunning castle in France during the busy month of August. The castle itself is beautiful and surrounded by a quiet and pleasant garden. The pool may be old, but it's huge and a welcome relief after a long day of hiking. The views of the Lot river from the location are absolutely fantastic. The service at this hotel is outstanding, with friendly and caring staff who made me feel truly welcomed and at ease. The rooms are spacious with excellent furniture and bedding. The only downside was the worn-out carpet. The breakfast was superb and though a bit expensive, the quality of the food was excellent. I also had dinner at the Bistro which had fantastic food and very good wines. I highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious and unforgettable experience.

Helpful staff, magnificent views, spacious room with en-suite and king-size bed, olde-worlde desk. Expensive but enjoyable meal. Splendid interior architecture and decoration. Breath history with comfort, well-trained team, remarkable positive points. Nearby attractions like Pont Valentre. Wonderful and nice stay.

wow, chateau de in mercues was even better than last time! staff so polite, room had incredible view & private terrace. felt like royalty in spacious room & fancy bathroom. restaurant pricey but worth it. interior like a castle. can't wait to go back.

Christmas at this incredible chateau was an unforgettable experience. the festive decorations were beautiful, and the staff made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. the location was amazing, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside and river. We also enjoyed the wine tasting tour offered by the chateau, which was informative and fun. the food at the restaurant was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from.

The service at times felt a bit slow and lacking. the quality of some amenities could be improved, such as the Wi-Fi and availability of staff at the swimming pool.

We had a fantastic stay at the historic chateau, enjoying its charming atmosphere and breathtaking views of the Lot River valley. Our room, perched high on a cliff, provided a magnificent 180-degree view and was spacious and comfortable. the restaurant served excellent food, although a bit pricey, and the staff was professional and helpful. the tour of the winery and the wine tasting were a bonus, and we loved the wonderful Malbec wines.
