I had an amazing stay at Vertigo Vieux-Port! The rooms were spacious and equipped with lockers, and the location right next to the vieux port was perfect. The staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, kind, and funny, making my experience even better.

The morning meal could be improved with a greater variety of options.

The hostel is situated uphill down a dark alley which does not feel like the safest area.

I recently stayed at Hostel Vertigo Vieux-Port for a few nights during my solo trip to Marseille. The room was unique with beds on the second floor and a bathroom on the first floor. The kitchen area was comfortable and the WiFi was excellent throughout the hostel. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the accommodation, the included breakfast, and the 24/7 access to the kitchen. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the old port, metro, buses, restaurants, and supermarkets.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

We loved that there are two separate buildings, each with its own kitchen and chill out area. The female only room we stayed in was unique and private, with a mezzanine layout that minimized noise. The mixed dorm was a bit less private, but still comfortable. The breakfast was basic but included delicious baguette. The hostel also offers free luggage storage before and after check-in.
