Location was amazing! I walked a lot in the city and couldn't have found a better area to stay in. the bed was beyond comfortable and the TV had a few English channels, which was a bonus. the air conditioning system was very quiet, which was an extra bonus. the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Conveniently located near the central plaza, the Mercure Lyon Plaza Republique provided us with a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and quiet, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets. The breakfast selection was top-notch, with a variety of delicious local delicacies to choose from. The staff were attentive and friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, such as small windows on the 7th floor and a room near the lift, overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and some even have the option to open the window for fresh air. The breakfast offers a nice selection of options, including fresh squeezed orange juice, bacon, pastries, and crepes. The staff is polite and helpful, and they speak English, which is a plus for non-French speakers.

I received excellent restaurant recommendations from Alessandro at the reception and enjoyed every meal I had in the area. the hotel's location is superb, with plenty of shops nearby and within walking distance of the parking. the rooms, although small, were well organized and the beds were comfortable. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere and found the hotel to be very clean. I had a pleasant stay and would highly recommend Mercure.
