I recently stayed at Atitlan Sunset Lodge for a week-long getaway and it was absolutely incredible. The grand apartment 1 was like a dream come true, with its beautiful and comfortable furnishings. The fully equipped kitchen and the terrace with stunning views made mornings extra special. The caretaker, Bryan, was amazing and Andrea was always available to help. Exploring the different villages by boat added to the fun and uniqueness of the experience. it was a fantastic stay and I highly recommend this hidden gem on Lake Atitlan.

The value for money was exceptional and the room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a stunning view. The location was perfect, right by the lake, and the staff at the hotel, especially Katherine, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home.

The breakfast could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

As adventurous travelers, we absolutely loved our stay at this amazing lodge. The panoramic views of the lake from our apartment room were breathtaking. The spacious room with a kitchen and balcony provided us with the perfect combination of comfort and convenience. The dinner at the lodge was fantastic, and the included dessert was a delightful surprise. The owner, Armand, was a fantastic host and even assisted us with arranging a private shuttle back to Antigua. The lodge's location, just 10 minutes away from Panachel and 15 minutes to the lake towns of Santa Cruz and San Marcos, was ideal for exploring the area. The lodge also had a private pier and a 20-minute walking trail to Santa Cruz, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of the surroundings.

Our stay at Atitlan Sunset Lodge felt like we were in our own home, and we couldn't have asked for anything more.

The host's flexibility was appreciated in allowing an early check-in. The room's recent renovation was evident in its charming decor and comfortable amenities. The use of paddle boards and kayaks was a bonus. The vegan meals, including the chickpea omelette, were delicious. The sunset hot tub and panoramic bay window were highlights of the stay.

Well located apartment with a wonderful view of the lake and volcanoes. Huge window offers lake views from the kitchen, bed, sofa, and even the shower. Super calm surrounding in nature, providing a peaceful stay. Private accommodation that feels like home. Canoe and paddle boards available for free to explore the lake. Private pier for swimming. Friendly owner who invited guests for dinner.

Amazing views! Great location! We couldn't get enough of the breathtaking scenery. the room was perfect and had everything we needed. We loved paddle boarding and kayaking. Being able to relax by the dock was a definite plus.

The shower had low water pressure and the doors to the patio were a bit difficult to open and close. the room could have been cleaned more frequently, especially for a self-catered apartment.

the studio apartment had the perfect rustic charm and stunning views of the lake. the hot water, comfortable bed, and well-equipped kitchen made our stay even more enjoyable. We especially loved the little nook where we could sit and watch the sunset, it was truly heavenly. the property also had adorable cats that added to the charm. Getting water taxis to and from the apartment was convenient. great value for money and highly recommended!
