From the warm introductions to the delicious dinner prepared by the hosts, Elin and Mikhail, we felt so taken care of throughout our stay. The hospitality was out of this world, and the hosts stayed up late, sharing fascinating travel stories and creating a fun and memorable experience. The common area smelled of freshly baked bread, and the cozy vibe made us never want to leave. The food was incredibly delicious, and we felt at home from the moment we walked in. The comfortable bed and cozy bedding added to the overall comfort of our stay.

The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, perfect for backpackers. The dining experience was exceptional with delicious and hot food. The living room/lounge area in the main lodge was very nice. Excellent room design for viewing stars and aurora, with large windows facing two directions. The hosts were gracious and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Beautiful location and home-cooked meals. The staff were great and very helpful, providing a homely and comfortable experience.

The hosts were absolutely amazing and made our romantic escape even more special. They were friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. the room was clean, modern, and cozy, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We were lucky to have clear skies and were able to see the stunning Vatnajökull Glacier from our room. the location of the hotel was perfect, just a short drive from the Ring Road, making it easy to explore the area. We also loved the fact that the hotel offered dinner, which was one of the best meals we had during our trip. It was definitely worth it and added to the overall experience.

We had an incredible stay at Glacier View Guesthouse. The owner and staff were welcoming and interesting to talk to. The rooms were beautifully decorated with floor to ceiling windows offering stunning views of rolling hills and a distant glacier. The breakfast was delicious and included a variety of choices. The fish soup dinner was a definite highlight.

During our romantic escape, we had an exceptional experience at this cozy guesthouse. the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel like part of the family. the homemade food was simply divine, with generous portions at a reasonable price. We also enjoyed the breathtaking views of the surrounding nature, capturing the true beauty of the country.

The only downside we found was the limited space in the family room we stayed in. With two adults and two teenagers, it felt a bit compact, especially with our suitcases.

During our stay at Glacier View Guesthouse, we were greeted with warm hospitality and felt right at home. We enjoyed a delicious and varied breakfast each morning, as well as a fantastic home-cooked dinner. The fish soup was particularly delightful, and the wine selection was impressive. It was also a great opportunity to socialize with other travelers. The surrounding area offered breathtaking views, and we were advised to visit the nearby Ice Lagoon, which was one of the highlights of our trip. Our little boy especially loved his time here and didn't want to leave. I highly recommend Glacier View Guesthouse for its beautiful location, fantastic facilities, and warm welcome.

Great host. Excellent room with breathtaking views. No fridge in room, but can store stuff in host's fridge. Excellent wifi. Dinner costs extra but best meal during 2-week stay. Wish we stayed longer.
