The value for money at this hostel was exceptional. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a unique design with a huge bunk bed that my kids loved. The location was peaceful and beautiful, with easy access to nearby attractions. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

I recently stayed at Midgard Base Camp for a few nights and absolutely loved it. The friendly and motivated team of Icelandic travelers created an amazing hostel that provides everything a guest could need. The rooms were clean and equipped with storage, towels, night lamps, and curtains for privacy. The bathrooms were also clean and plentiful. The highlight of my stay was definitely the sauna and hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a day of traveling in freezing temperatures. The restaurant and guest kitchen offered great food options, and the breakfast, though a bit pricey, was delicious. The staff was always ready to offer advice and help with any changes to my plans. a fantastic experience.

The Christmas decorations were beautiful and really got me into the holiday spirit. The staff was friendly and greeted me with a warm welcome. They even offered complimentary hot chocolate and cookies, which was a nice touch. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions and had easy access to public transportation. I also enjoyed the cozy common area with a fireplace, it was a great spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring.

My first accommodation in Iceland, and Midgard Basecamp, was an excellent choice. the hostel provided towels, a drying room for wet clothes, and even hairdryers, which was a definite plus. We enjoyed the hot tub, although it would have been better if the water was replaced more frequently. As guests, we were treated to a free concert by Bjartmar Guðlaugsson, which was a super nice touch. the atmosphere of the hostel was great, with friendly and helpful staff. the common spaces were well-equipped, including a kitchen that was very useful in an expensive country like Iceland. the hot tub on the balcony was also a much-appreciated extra feature. it was a fantastic experience.

The staff was super friendly and the facilities were clean. the hot tub and sauna were a great addition to the stay. the hotel's location was perfect and they offered free parking. the option to enjoy a nice breakfast or have drinks at the bar in the evening was convenient. having access to a guest kitchen for cooking was a nice touch.

One of the windows in my room didn't latch completely, so I could hear the wind during the night. However, this didn't affect my sleep as I was tired.
