I fell in love with Puri Saraswati Bungalows the moment I stepped into their beautiful gardens. The location is perfect, right on the main road in Ubud next to the temple and Cafe Lotus. The traditional Balinese bungalows with carved wooden doors and windows added to the charm. The bathroom was clean and modern, and the aircon, TV, and Wi-Fi all worked perfectly. The breakfast was basic but nice, with freshly squeezed juice, fresh fruit salad, eggs, toast. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel even personalized my visit before I arrived, making me feel welcome from the start. The gardens were lush and the Lotus pool provided fantastic views. Puri Saraswati Bungalows is a beautiful place full of Balinese charm in a great location in the heart of Ubud.

Some aspects of the hotel could use some upgrading, as mentioned by previous guests.

The free breakfast and the location were great. the breakfast included fruits and eggs, and was a good way to start the day. the location was very convenient, close to the local market and shopping areas, and within walking distance to a famous temple and its lotus ponds.

The rooms assigned to us were in the extreme backside of the hotel, and both had different facilities. the staff did not seem to care about us, and we felt they preferred other types of tourists.

Feeling like I am invited by the royal palace for a holiday. The room had a bit of extra care needed, but the location was excellent and the staff were fantastic. Staying in the palace garden was a truly unique experience. I highly recommend this hotel.

the staff at the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They even made sure we had a breakfast box when we were leaving, ensuring that we wouldn't go hungry. the room itself was spacious and clean, and we loved that it was situated next to a temple where we could watch traditional dances from the balcony. the pool, although we didn't use it, looked clean and inviting. the location of the hotel was ideal, right on the main street of Ubud, although some may find it a bit noisy in the evening. I would definitely stay at Puri Saraswati again.
