i recently stayed at a budget hotel in rome, and it really exceeded my expectations. the staff was super helpful, arranging a taxi pick-up and giving great restaurant tips. from the comfortable beds to the clean room and perfect location near the colosseum, everything made for a wonderful stay.

The beds were far too firm for a comfortable sleep!!! Who wants a view into a tiny courtyard? They really need to work on room readiness at check-in, and noise from other guests can be annoying!!!

Consider asking for restaurant recommendations from the staff for local, less touristy options—they provided excellent suggestions that enhanced our dining experience.

However, noise from the reception area was noticeable, and towels were not changed daily, which detracted from the comfort of the stay.
