I had an amazing experience at a charming hotel in Yamanouchi. The owners were incredibly welcoming and ensured our comfort throughout our stay. They even provided robes that fit everyone in our group. The hot water for tea was always readily available. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the Snow Monkey park and even took us to our next hotel the next morning. The owners were friendly and exemplified the best of Japanese hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel.

The ryokan-style room was spacious and clean. The friendly staff provided a free shuttle service to Snow Monkey Park and the train station. Enjoyed the traditional onsen baths, including the outdoor one. Convenient bus stop nearby. Highly recommended! 👍

The hotel is conveniently situated near the renowned Jigokudani monkey park and is just a short walk from the charming Shibu Onsen Town. The spacious rooms provide a peaceful retreat with a lovely view of the river. The friendly and helpful staff offers prompt shuttle services to and from the train station, making transportation hassle-free. Guests can indulge in traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner, relishing the superb local cuisine. The hotel also features a delightful souvenir shop, where unique items like foot reflexology boards and darumo chopsticks can be found.

Slight disappointment with the onsen, as it offers just hot water instead of hot spring water, and hair conditioner was not provided in the washing area.
